Furnace ~ winter tune up

My technician ShaunS. arrived at my home promptly at the scheduled appointment time to complete the job. He was friendly, professional and courteous. When tightening a part, Shaun believed it had inadvertently cracked so he made a quick call to Furnaceman to report this and to pick up a new part. Little time passed by for him to pick up the piece and return to my home. It was replaced in a timely but careful manner and Shaun tested everything to ensure that the furnace was working as it should be. I very much have to acknowledge and thank Shaun for his honesty in reporting this to me. Upon completion of the tune up, Shaun made sure that the area was clean, taking any garbage with him to dispose of. In the future, I will choose Furnaceman for my furnace/ac/fireplace maintenance. Further, I will make sure to request Shaun S. as my technician.

Furnace Cleaning

A/C not working

Friendly tech ascertained the nature of the problem from my description of what was happening. Fan would start but compressor would not. Changed cap, gave unit a bath, checked refridgerent level. I am now cooling!

Heating and air conditioning installation and follow up issues

Follow up and clarification on questions and concerns post-installation. 0/10

I had a new furnace and air conditioning unit installed in January and April 2021 respectively. I chose Furnasman due to excellent service received in the past, regarding ongoing maintenance.

As always, the service and installation technicians were extremely courteous, respectful, and committed to customer service throughout the installation process.

Trying to obtain answers to some clarifying questions was a very different story.

Specifically - issues regarding incorrect warranty registration (done by Furnasman), follow up electrical work, and information regarding an issue with my hot water tank which was identified by an installation technician.

Over the course of two months, I sent three emails to the sales representative requesting information and clarification on these outstanding items. Finally, I tried calling him directly, and left him a voice message. I received no response or acknowledgement of my calls or emails.

Next - I tried to contact Furnasman directly, on a weekly basis, leaving voice messages asking someone to call me back. After about six weeks of leaving these messages, I sent an email to the manager (approximately ten days ago). None of these attempts at contact have been responded to or acknowledged.

Finally, today (June 21) after leaving yet another voice message requesting assistance, I received a call back . After two months of emails and voice messages, my questions have finally been answered. It only took a few minutes so I am at a loss as to why it took so long to get answers.

No apology or explanation was given for the delay or lack of response.

That is why my rating on customer service post-installation is 0 out of 10.

Thank you again for the excellent work technicians and telephone personnel !

A/C Maintenance and HWT diagnosis

Prepaid A/C maintenance and Hot water tank diagnosis. Employee was friendly and provided options for repair and or replacement . I made a decision to replace the Hot water tank. Employee very knowledgeable and good replacement price. Happy with the results.

Furnace

During a minus forty cold snap, the furnace started making a new noise. We definitely didn't want it to fail at those temps! The tech who arrived - Shawn S - worked diligently to ensure there were no parts about to die, that both stages were being achieved, things were running in their recommended parameters, etc. Ultimately: we were assured our furnace was running well, and there was no fear of imminent failure.
Ask for Shawn by name!

Heating Maintenance

Furnace Maintenance

What great service! Service was incredibly thorough, including explanations as to what was being done and why. Shaun was extremely friendly and polite and I felt very comfortable with him in my home - wearing a mask for Covid safety and appropriately distanced while we talked. My furnace is now humming a happy tune and just in time : ) Thank you!

Furnace Servicing and Lutchased Pritection plan.

We had our furnace serviced today by Furnasnan. Quick efficient service. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The price is also right. Our cost was higher today because we purchased a protection plan for our furnace and A/c. I highly recommend this company.
