After dealing with a number of plumbing and foundation leak issues over the last couple years, we thought we had it solved. We were well into some basement renos when we had some severe rain and water started coming in from behind a newly finished wall (where we previously had not seen any issues). The flooring had been taken up in preparation for new flooring so we were easily able to see the water leaking under the wall onto the concrete. Once again I called Pierre for help and he walked me through some low cost troubleshooting and tried to help me work around damaging the new drywall. Pierre was busy with calls following the storm but found time to work me in given the urgency of our reno project. Ultimately we had no choice but to take the wall down and address it properly. Pierre came up with a solution that was the most cost efficient and effective way to deal with the leak which consisted of a window well backing up, foundation cracks around the window, someone's previous poor crack repair and a number of leaking rod holes. We did some AquaPak injection sealing and installed another trench drain and membrane wall. Pierre and his son Joseph once again were quick and efficient. During the same storm we had water pouring in through the exterior of our chimney and making its way into the basement and coming out of our gas fireplace. Pierre was also able to re-point our chimney mortar, seal the brick and re-caulk the chimney at the problem areas. Thanks again Pierre & Joseph!
