Ikea has always proven to be amazing in the product and service they offer. We bought our first kitchen from them and LOVE it!!! If anything goes wrong they are wonderful about returns and are very understanding to people who renovate. Many people in our family have also purchased furniture and kitchens from them and have been thoroughly satisfied. Despite having to install it yourself they do offer for an extra charge someone to come and install it for you.
The staff at Ikea Coquitlam were very friendly and helpful. I purchased a handful of new decor and matching bed frame, cabinet, and tables. The staff was friendly and offered to help me load into my car. I would recommend shopping at Ikea Coquitlam!
I had called this store to sort out a weird credit card policy they had and had a hell of a time on the phone with the customer service people afterwards trying to sort this all out. I got passed around to like 5 people when finally this one girl took my call and I was so frustrated I was near tears and lost it! She kindly calmed me down, apologized profusely for everything and walked me through how the mess could all get sorted out. she told me that rather go through the store on my own to get all the stuff I was supposed to be buying (there was a lot and the 1st time I went I ended up havign to leave it at the checkout counter after I shlepped it around for like an hour around the store), to just go straight to the customer service desk and that there would be something there to help me. Turns out SHE had gone through the store and pulled everything for me and had it all waiting for me there to be paid. Now that is a way to keep a customer!!!
We were quite satisfied with the shelving unit we bought at Ikea. The colour, style and price were just right. We found that we didn't need help with anything, as everything is well laid out. We like that we were able to view the product before buying. Buying the shelves in boxes was convenient for transporting home. We knew it was a task ahead of us to assemble them, but that's why the price is right. If you're on a budget, and don't mind using some tools, this is a good place to buy shelves.
When we bought our new house we decided after 20 years plus that we could get new furniture to update the look. We didn't have a huge budget and there were a few pieces we wanted to keep. We ended up at the Ikea on advice from a friend. It was great as it happened to be their semi-annual sale or something. My wife has definite ideas about what she wants so I was hoping it wasn't going to "break the bank" so to speak. I was more than pleased when, after what seemed like endless hours, with the assistance of the staff, the bill ended up just under 2500. Giving us a new updated look for the bedroom, livingroom and kitchen. The only complaint I have with the company is you have to put it all together and sometimes pieces or "special tools" are missing or not included.
I went to Ikea during their couch sale last year, the staff was very helpful, and patient with me while I hemmed and hawed over which couch to buy. I finally decided on the right one for me, and they informed me i could get a chair as well for a discounted price! They helped me choose a chair that matched my new couch even though it was very busy in the store. Every time I go to Ikea I am always able to find what I am looking for easily. Its very easy to get lost, but the helpful and knowledgeable staff are always there to assist me in any of my needs!!
I had been looking for shelving for above my washer for quite some time, we tried many home improvement stores , but no luck, so my husband was ready to build me one, but before I agreed my friend told me to go to Ikea, so we did we have a great shelving unit above my washer it even has a rod to hang up items to dry, I am very happy :) :) , and it costs around 100.00 witch is not too bad at all.
I was left with some tops from the furniture I bought from another store and I needed to find some legs and convert those into small tables. I needed something to match the rest of the furniture in the store. Ikea Coquitlam offered me the solution. Not cheap really, $15/leg, but I am happy that I found them. The match perfectly the design of the store. I also bought a nice table top and I attached to it the same kind of legs. My office looks really good now. :-)
