I recently had a new high efficiency boiler and water heater installed. after 14 years rental, they want to charge me $75 for pickup of the old (rusty) water heater. In addition, even though i phoned in the cancellation, i still have to wait 48 hrs for them to process it. No professionalism at all. Business practices with NO ethics. Don't deal with these guys!

I needed general repairs and minor improvements at my property. Chris came (when he said he would - bonus!) and gave me an estimate. we agreed on details and start date. He did an excellent job and especially important cleaned up after himself. I would definitely recommend Chris for all general repairs around the home. I am planning a kitchen renovation and Chris will be the first person I call!

I needed to have a deck rebuilt with stairs going up to the second floor. I asked for quotes from a deck builder and was told they would not touch the staircase going up and yet gave me an estimate of more than I paid Frank. And they would have done only half the job! Frank came when he promised and did a fantastic job - the rebuilt deck is WAY nicer than the original was! He made great suggestions that enhanced the look. He was extremely neat - cleaning up after himself everyday. He is always polite, friendly and helpful. We have had him do other work for us at our home as well. In the past year he installed hardwood floors, moved kitchen cabinets, fixed plumbing and drywall, painted, etc. I don't think there is anything that I need doing that i wouldn't trust to him! He is a treasure. 100% reliable and trustworthy, competent and skilled. Thanks Frank!

I needed trees trimmed back from the house at two properties. Mike and his crew did a marvelous job. Quick, clean, did not damage any flowers. when he left the backyard was immaculate. they even rakes up an loose leaves. A highly reliable company with a great work ethic. Thanks Mike

We needed to remove the 25 yr old broadloom and replace with hardwood due to a severe onslaught of dust allergies. Dan took out the broadloom and put down the hardwood very fast. He made no mess at all and since he sealed off areas outside the master bedroom and upstairs hallway, the dust was kept to a minimal throughout the rest of the house as well. There were 8 doorways to contend with as well a meeting different types of floors in the 2 baths and toher 2 bedrooms. The finishing touches at the walls are fabulous. The whole job looks magnificent. In addition, the backyard wooden fence was leaning due to two trees coming down on top of it in the past year. Dan found a way to straighten it without adding UGLY wooden props. This has saved us from a VERY costly replacement this year. WE are already planning to have Dan back for our next renovations in the Living Room. I highly recommend Dan to anyone!

I needed rotten steps replaced in a back deck and second floor exit. Glen did the work in an efficient and professional manner, allowing me to keep my tenants safe and happy. Thanks Glen!

Dan Empter is real HOMEstar. He has done lots of work for us from putting down a hardwood floor to building a deck and lots a general repairs. I have never been unhappy with anything he did. What a terrific resource he is! I would recommend him for anything in your home and trust that if he can't do it - he will tell you up front. Great guy and he never leaves a mess at the end of day!!!

Nick had his roofer do a new roof for us 3 years ago. Two years ago it leaked in and did lots of damage. His roofer "sealed the seams" and said there was nothing else wrong. To his credit he did some repairs to the interior damage - though the quality of work was poor. Last year - it leaked in again. His roofer again just "sealed the seams". He said he wouldn't fix the inside damage and told us to "take him to court". This summer - a new leak appeared. His roofer said there was nothing wrong with his roof and it was leaking somewhere else. They did nothing. We hired a very reputable roofer who was appalled at the workmanship. They reused old flashing and nailed thru the membrane. No wonder it leaked! This guy is not to be trusted.
