Talent Renovations

When I decided to renovate my basement, I preferred to go with Talent Renovations. I had experience working with them when I finished my garage. I could see back then that he has a good work ethic and great workmanship, but I was advised to look into other contractors and get estimates. We got 2 other quotes, the second one was from a big company, the quote was more expensive and I could tell that this company is more into subcontracting all of its work, the third one was the lowest but I was not willing to take a risk of going with a new contractor that I have not seen their workmanship just to save some money.

Talent Renovations can provide you with a 3D plan of what you have discussed in designing, in this way, you can see what it will look like. Wesley, can also advise you on any particular concerns that you might have, and one of my major concerns is that newer-built houses use long-span joists, from an engineering standpoint it is ok, but I dont like it when Im sitting on the main floor and someone walks you can feel the floor vibrating. So I was proposing a beam across the wide area in the basement but without making the ceiling ugly. He came up with a solution that could reduce the vibration significantly and simultaneously form part of the bulkhead.

The whole project was smooth for us, from designing, getting the permits, setting up, bringing materials and supplies, inspections, painting and finishing, and even up to touch-ups. If I have to say one thing about Talent Renovations, it would be Perfection. He is very meticulous and takes pride in his work, he also makes sure that the people he hires for things he is not certified for like plumbing and electrical, have good quality work and does not cut corners.

I have no regrets about going with Talent Renovations. There is This would work or that is acceptable and there is Talent Renovations who will say This is much better.

Wesley did an excellent work . He completed the work on time with high quality.

Wesley was very diligent with helping us mount our fireplace mantle. He put a lot of effort into ensuring it fit properly and that we selected the best orientation - the mantle was made from reclaimed wood so needed a lot of adjusting to ensure it fit!

He did a lot of research into how it could be mounted safely, cost effectively and quickly!

Would highly recommend him!

Wesley was great from beginning to end. He explained the process, was always on time and has a lot of attention to detail, end result was awesome!

I am writing a review for Talent Renovations (Wesley and his Team). It is not often one can find a person who can envision a job and improve upon the design to make it look so good and be so functional. He kept the job site very clean each day. The result of my renovation was amazing! Every time I have new people come in they comment on my beautiful kitchen and wish they could redo theirs.

He also helped me build a custom deck in my front yard and I get so many compliments on it when people walk by.

I would recommend his work to anyone. He is a reno artist at work and would please everyone who had the privilege of having him do a job. I have only positive feedback on an excellent job! What a privilege!

Smooth execution on a tricky window install, Wesley returned calls quickly, arrived on time, and finished the job on time, and below quote. It was not and easy job, but he reworked existing pieces so everything blends nicely, and the job went as promised. The perfect contractor, I highly recommend Talent!

I hired talent renovations (Wesley), to level my garage floor and apply an epoxy coating. They were very professional since the first contact.
The job went as planned at the dates agreed and the quality was outstanding. I had a section of the garage that was lower accumulating water throughout the winter. It drains perfectly now.
Also all cracks were fixed and the epoxy coat was applied and my new garage looks awesome and it is easier to keep clean as well.
I recommend their services.

This is a hard working team that puts in a lot of effort and consideration for their customers and the results show it.

Wesley provided excellent and prompt service to resurface our triple garage and surrounding curb wall with polyaspartic flake system.
We are very satisfied with the project. His price is reasonable and competitive.
Definitely we shall have and use Wesley to do any future renovations.

Wesley took his time to walkthrough with me and my wife explaining in detail the process to prep and install the polyurethane in our garage floor, finish our garage wall, tape, paint and texture the sealing.

He takes extra care in the preparation (polishing, addressing imperfections, cleaning, etc) before application.

Coming from a construction background, I would not decorate to recommend Wesley and Talent Renovations.
