I called Berge when we first moved into our present home in 2012 to estimate the cost of rehabilitating our concrete front porch. It was at that time crumbling, and had multi-coats of different colours of paint which had flaked off and left the porch looking grim. Berge responded quickly and gave me a very competitive price to rebuild the porch and then cover it with a new protective concrete surface. He completed the job quickly and very professionally and then coated the new concrete with a long-lasting concrete sealer. Today, in June of 2019, the porch looks as good as it did the day he finished the new concrete work. The product is very durable, and the workmanship has stood the test of time. Real Home Improvements replaced some 200 lineal feet of wood privacy fencing in our backyard after the original fence was badly damaged in a windstorm in June, 2007. The job involved removal of the old fencing, digging some 30 post holes, and the construction of the new fence. Doug Hutchinson, the company owner, was most helpful with suggestions as to the best construction methods and materials for use in this project. I was most impressed with the fact that this company actually did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Mr. Hutchinson did an excellent job of keeping me informed every step of the way, and was quick to act when I had a question or a suggestion about something I would like to see modified to suit my needs. The finished fence is a project with which I am well pleased, and it should last for many years.
