Real Home Improvements replaced some 200 lineal feet of wood privacy fencing in our backyard after the original fence was badly damaged in a windstorm in June, 2007. The job involved removal of the old fencing, digging some 30 post holes, and the construction of the new fence. Doug Hutchinson, the company owner, was most helpful with suggestions as to the best construction methods and materials for use in this project. I was most impressed with the fact that this company actually did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Mr. Hutchinson did an excellent job of keeping me informed every step of the way, and was quick to act when I had a question or a suggestion about something I would like to see modified to suit my needs. The finished fence is a project with which I am well pleased, and it should last for many years. I am pleased to recommend Mr. Hutchinson and Real Home Improvements Inc. to anyone seeking a home renovator.

Doug and his crew completed the job in a timely manner. They replaced a set of fancy steps, replaced several cedar boards on the deck, then sanded and stained the deck. The deck now looks like it did when it was new.Doug also did an excellent job of extending a retaining wall. Doug was very willing to listen to the customer and ensure that the job was completed to the standard expected. I would use Doug again for another project.

We received good service and it was done in a timely fashion. Any problems were dealt with quickly. Doug is always available to handle any problems that may come up when you need a job done or after the job is done.
