After discovering rain water seeping down an exterior brick wall in the basement, we called a company to check to see if there was an issue with the foundations. But they came and believed it was an issue with the chimney. So, we called a chimney company to take a look and they thought it might be a roofing issue. So, we called Paul at Red Dog Roofing who wasn't exactly sure what the problem was, but told us that our shingles were in pretty bad shape. Funny thing is I've told my wife the same thing for years but why would she believe in the expertise of her husband?! Anyway, we finally bit the bullet and contracted Paul to get the shingles done. Communicating and working with Paul was easy and the job was done within a day. The most challenging part was booking a day for Paul and his crew to come in as they were busy with other jobs. Suffice to say, we're extremely happy with the new shingles and are hoping that it will address the water that had been coming into the basement! We would definitely recommend Red Dog Roofing for any roofing needs!

Dryer broke down on a Thursday night. Searched HomeStars for someone to come by and look at it/make repairs on Friday. Made a couple of calls, and Mors replied quickly, explained what he thought the problem could be, and gave us an approximate cost estimate. Saturday afternoon he came, made the repairs to the dryer and now, Saturday evening - the wife is back doing the laundry! Mors was very professional and able to get the job done quickly so we're very happy, especially now since our 10 month old has a never ending supply of laundry that needs to get done! Will definitely keep his business card around!

We're enrolled with the Reliance Furnace/AC protection plan - during the summer we called to have our AC/furnace checked out. The technician who came was wonderful and did a great job explaining to us some problems we might encounter in the future because of the way the AC unit was situated outside the house but for the most part everything was in good condition. Only thing he pointed out was that when we started using the furnace in the fall that we should make a call to have a Reliance technician make a small repair to the furnace unit which had started making a buzzing sound towards the end of last winter. We called, made an appointment and I wanted to say that our technician, Thava Siva went above and beyond our expectations. He arrived when expected, made the repairs and worked on the furnace to make sure that the buzzing sound stopped, but serviced and cleaned some parts that he thought needed some TLC. Thava was an excellent technician who sought to ensure that we were happy with the service he provided and most importantly that we'd be confident in his work! My only complaint about the Reliance service is the number of calls I've received since joining their home protection plan - as they've tried to up-sell us on other services they provide. It's gotten to the point where I've actually blocked the numbers these calls originated from. However, I wanted to reiterate how happy we were with the actual service call and the technician!
