We chose a Silestone quartz countertop through Zion granite and we were very happy with their service, quality, price and timeliness. They were very easy to deal with and the countertop is stunning. We get lots of compliments on it and just love it. Photos are attached.

Reiner is truly our secret weapon. Because we had Reiner's help and expertise, we ended up with: - Plans/designs we loved - An excellent contractor - Quick resolution of issues that arose along the way (which were few and far between thanks to Reiner's help with the planning) - A stunning kitchen and family room built-ins from one of Reiner's trusted suppliers - A move-home date that was a month earlier than the agreed-upon date in the contract with our supplier - Minimal stress around the renovation itself As soon as you meet Reiner, it's clear that he has a very unique skill set: he understands the intricacies of construction and he is able to communicate the nuances and impacts to a layperson client. Additionally, he has a roster of trusted suppliers. He has great recommendations for high quality suppliers at very reasonable costs. Reiner arranged for several trusted contractors to quote on our job, walked us through their quotes, managed the negotiation process and continued to assist throughout the renovation itself. I credit the early and on-budget completion of our stunning renovation to Reiner's involvement. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We are very impressed with Bax. The entire team there is friendly and easy to deal with, the quality of the materials and workmanship is excellent and the price can't be beat. Louie is truly talented with kitchen design. He had many useful suggestions and recommendations when we asked for them, but was completely supportive of our own vision and choices. He never rushed through the design and wanted to spend as long as it took to get it the way we wanted it. Our kitchen flows into the family room with cabinetry along the entire wall and it has turned out perfectly--exactly what we were looking for. The installation crew was solid and made sure everything looked perfect. I've attached photos of the cabinets up close so you can see the dovetail joins and the quality of the construction. Many thanks Louie and the entire Bax team!

We were so impressed with Angel and his crews, I don't even know where to start. They excelled at the baseline stuff: punctual, friendly, good quality work, responsive, kept a clean and safe site etc. But here's where I'm truly impressed: 1) Creative Solutions There were a number of places where Angel went ahead with a great idea he had, then took the time to show us and explain the reasoning behind it and offered other options if we preferred something different. For example, the walls around the windows in our basement addition. When the walls were being framed, Angel had his crew angle them slightly under the windows in order to maximize the amount of natural light coming into the room. This is tough to explain and sounds odd, but it looks great. He showed us how it was being framed and asked if we'd prefer it to be more "standard". He was happy to re-do the work if necessary, but wanted to show us after the framing was done so we would understand. Of course we kept it how he'd designed it -- it's a much better option. Another example is the location of our air conditioner. The air conditioner had to be moved as part of our renovation and he clearly gave the placement of it a lot of thought, before we even asked about it. He placed it on a bracket above ground level and built a custom box around it as part of the deck (which his crew also built). So now our deck has an awesome built-in bench as well--which I love. He made sure it would be easy to disassemble in order to service the air conditioner. 2) Useful Suggestions As the project was progressing, Angel was very clear with recommendations on whether something really should be done, or whether it was just a matter of personal preference. For example, when the hardwood flooring on the main and second floors was taken out, he assessed the state of the subfloors. He told us that the subfloor was in bad shape on the second floor and really needed to be re-done. The main floor was a little more optional, according to Angel. He said that it would be ok to leave it, but it may still be a bit creaky. It really demonstrated his "customer first" approach--he clearly wasn't just trying to make more money at every opportunity. 3) Pride in Quality Workmanship I was really impressed how the crew and sub-trades all took pride in their work. They weren't just trying to make a buck and move on to the next job. We showed up unannounced a few times and they would take the time to show us what they were working on and were clearly proud of a job well done. 4) Finished Ahead of Schedule We moved back into the house a month before the contracted end date. A month! Angel would tell you that some of this was that we were lucky that we didn't encounter major obstacles introducing delay, but it is also because he is very efficient and does a great job with scheduling all the tasks and dependencies. His experience with managing permits and inspections was also helpful in getting everything inspected and passed efficiently. Angel is a stand-up guy who is a pleasure to work with. A huge thank you to you, your crew and your subtrades for such excellent work on our home and for minimizing the stress and impact of the renovation experience.

My husband and I have wanted to replace the mailbox on our house for a few years. They are surprisingly hard to find. The big box stores only sell a couple of models. The selection at Royal Lighting was great, the staff was friendly and helpful and we found a mailbox we're very happy with.

I have used Sunny Way a few times to clean our eavestroughs and they are friendly and thorough. I have always found them to be pleasant to talk to and considerate. They cleaned up well afterwards and consulted me about the best place to leave the waste to ensure that they weren't creating any issues. I plan to hire them again.

I have been using NCM for close to a year now for bi-weekly cleans. I started with them because of all the positive reviews on HomeStars and I continue to be thrilled and impressed. I have used other cleaning companies in the past and I've never had nearly as positive an experience as I've had with NCM. Not only is the house spotless when they're done, they do little things like arranging a little display in my son's crib with his toys (he's old enough to safely have toys in his crib and likes to take everything but the kitchen sink in there with him). The company has been very flexible and helpful with working around unplanned circumstances like a major plumbing issue. They are willing to use non-toxic cleaning products and accommodate my request to use standard (toxic!) cleaning products on the toilets (which weren't really getting as clean with the non-toxic ones) and non-toxic everywhere else. They follow up with me at regular intervals to ensure that I'm still happy with the service and to address any issues that may have arisen. I hate to admit it, but a few times I've had to leave the house in a rush and it's been in an embarrassingly terrible state with a lot of clutter. I have come home to find the usual organized and spotless result once they're done. I'm really impressed with New Century Maids..

We understand that life can be hectic and you do not always have everything planned out as it may sometimes be impossible to do with small children, our crews always try to be helpful with little extras that help you.
Thanks.

I could not be more impressed with Craig and his crew. Yesterday a large (huge) branch of our black walnut tree cracked and it was hanging precariously over our backyard. We had Craig do some trimming of the same tree back in 2010 and we were really happy with his work so he was my first call. Unsurprisingly, he's been extremely busy with all the tree damage due to local storms recently, but we were lucky that he was already working in the area and he was able to come over immediately to take a look. I hope this doesn't result in other people writing poor reviews about him being late, because he really helped us out, despite the fact that he still had a few other jobs to complete that day. The branch cracked at 2pm and by 4:30, the whole thing was down and being cut up for firewood by his crew. They swept up and left the backyard spotless (it looked better than it had before they arrived). He was so friendly and pleasant to deal with and the crew was great too. We will be calling him back again to help with some maintenance trimming of the tree.

Thank so much for the kind words and the repeat business Julie.
I sure hope the next time you call is because you want to and not because the tree has forced you to. Either way, we're happy to respond. All the best, Craig.
