I wanted to install a custom fireplace mantel that would work with a TV above in a very limited space. I chose Black Forest Woodworking because they had a great portfolio of similar small projects and because Istvan spoke about the work as a craft versus a service. He understood my thumbnail drawings, listened to concerns, offered solutions, kept me in the loop on all the details, and executed with utmost precision. Sam was excellent. He was friendly, tidy, and did exactly what was needed (as he estimated). And Tannaz, the project manager, was super at getting back quickly with all my questions. They are a hardworking, friendly, and honest team. My ceiling looks great. I will reach out to them for future projects!
