I wanted my basement finished, meaning drywalled, floor with ceramic tile and 200amp electrical box covered, I also wanted 4 sliding doors installed, basically a wall of sliding doors to cover the washer, dryer, drain tub and water heater.

I wanted 3 companies to esitmate the job, had a visit from all 3, I will tell you that Creation by Renovation was the only one to give me a flat total price, the other two would estimate by saying an approx total of hours x $75 per hour, they would not commit to a final maximum price.

Mark also seemed to be more interested in making sure I would be happy with the renovations and made helpful suggestions. Before Mark left my home he had job, that how sure I was after talking with him.

I now have a beautiful looking basement, oak coloured sliding doors that hide the washer and dryer. A great tiled floor,the electrical panel is hidden but has small doors for easy access to it.

I was so impressed that months later I decided the upstairs bathroom needed a complete renovation. I did not bother with estimates, just contacted Mark. Again he stopped over gave me a flat price.

In the bathroom, Mark's team replaced the drywall, tiled around the 3 sides of the 3 sides of the bathtub right up to the ceiling, replaced the exhaust fan in the cieling, the light, removed the old vanity, installed an oak vanity, a large framed oak mirror, tiled the floor, installed slidinig glass doors for the bathtub / shower. Installed new sink, sink cabinet with 2 drawers, all new faucets in the tub and sink, new nicklel plated faucets for bathtub and sink. Finished it off with a new paint job for the ceiling and the walls. The job was completed, Mark said it was about $200 cheaper than the flat total price he gave me and wrote me a cheque for the $200! Never have I had that happen before!

I had the whole family over to see what was done and they were in AWE!

This was my first ever home renovation so cost, quality and service were very important to me. Mark was extremely helpful and persistent to make sure the bathroom was everything we hoped it would be. He personally took me out to purchase tile, tub, vanity, etc. and followed up to make sure I was happy with the result. His team of trades were very professional and personable. The end result of the bathroom was exceptional and we absolutely LOVE it! I would highly recommend Mark as a contractor.

After searching for just the right contractor, we were lucky enough to find Creation by Renovation. Mark and his team are by far the best company we've hired in any renovations we've done to our home. Timely, professional, polite, detail-oriented, and meticulous. Mark has many contacts in the industry and was able to guide us in where to shop for what we needed (tub, toilet, taps, etc.) using his great industry discounts. When we were confused with what to buy, he kindly came with us and gave his direction. No one has ever done that for us before in any renovation. As with any kind of renovation, there's always something that comes up. Any issue or question, Mark was immediately on-site to make correct and takes such pride, he wasn't happy until we were happy. We would highly recommend Mark and his team to do any kind of work. Cost in this review included tiles, glass, sinks, vanity, toilet, etc. Labour was by Creation by Renovation was very reasonable!!

We were brought into this job by Revi to work in collaboration with her and her team. We were very impressed by her attention to details and her flair for a creative design. The entire project was coordinated by Revi and her meticulous scheduling ensured an on time and within budget completion. We will not hesitate to work with Revi again in the future.

Contact them, contact them now if you are considering a renovation! The finished bathroom exceeded my expectations, was completed on time, and they saved me money without sacraficing quality. Emile and Tony, the builders, are artists, and I completely trusted them every step of the way. Mark [last name removed --Ed], the owner, was in constant contact with me, every step of the way, to ensure I was satisfied. For Mark, it's obvious he always puts the customer first.

With all the horror stories you hear in the media about a reno gone wrong, trust is probably the most important factor when choosing a contractor. You can trust these professionals, and at the very least, do yourself a favour and give them a call before choosing your contractor. You'll thank me later!

Concept Design and Renovation did an exceptional job on our home, they were courteous and professional through and through. Well versed, strong work ethic and no BS. After having numerous disappointments with other contractors my wife and I are glad to have found a reno company that we can trust for all our future jobs. I would recommend them for any serious building or renovation project. 10 out of 10.

Mark is the ultimate professional. He always showed up on time which is a big deal! His estimate was throrough and fair. He phoned every day to see how things are going. The men who were here every day, Howard and Ricky, took great care and great pride in everything they did. If I had any questions, they were answered immediately. They kept my home as clean as possible during 2 and a half weeks of dusty work. The job was finished on time. A pot light needed fixing and one tile had some existing damage on it and both were fixed immediately. Mark and the crew were trustworthy and friendly and I recommend them highly. I will be hiring them for my next renovation.

I found Mark just by fluke, but he turned out to be the perfect contractor for me. He was helpful, made great suggestions along the way which really made a difference to the overall look and quality of the project. His got on extremely well with my designer which has lead to more projects for both of them. His workman were skilled and paid attention to detail. Mark was always willing to answer questions and share his experience. AND the price was right. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
