We hired Aventus to transform our backyard patio, which had previously been a sea of sad, old, cracked concrete. Another element we were eager to fix was the severe grade of the concrete and suboptimal rain water management system.
Aventus removed and excavated the old concrete and subsoil, improved the water management system by building a French Drain and channel drain system, laid new patio stones with a beautiful border, and built a fence/grate.
From the start Amir was personable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We appreciated his expert suggestions when it came to different stone choices.
Once the project started, Saad and his crew were wonderful - excellent communication, friendly, and tidy. The group chat we had while the job was taking place was a very helpful communication tool.
Another element of our project is that we did this work in tandem with our neighbours - Aventus helped ensure this was a great process all around. I also appreciated that the final price echoed the estimate, with a small increase in cost because we chose more premium stone - and this was clearly communicated by Amir so there were no surprises on our end.
I would definitely recommend Aventus for any patio landscaping needs!
