I hired Greater Toronto Contractors in the fall of 2011 to renovate my basement and a 3 pc bathroom. The work took months to complete, and was the most stressful reno imaginable. There were so many problems with this job that I cannot list them all. From basic violations to my coming home early one day and finding the owners girlfriend making herself at home in my living room, to the botched paint job (they insisted that it be finished after dark in a room without power!) a shower door installed backwards that they never did fix, a plumber they didn't pay who threatened to put a lien on my house, plus many other issues. In the end they did credit me a few hundred dollars, but to this day - over 2 years later - I still try to avoid even looking at that bathroom much less using it, and have seriously considered to hire another contractor to redo it.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We hope the following response will address your concerns. However, we are confused, as the specific information in your review is completely contrary to the information both within our service records -- and all verbal communications we had.
In this circumstance, we attempted to refund to this customer in an attempt to satisfy them. Unfortunately, even that was not enough to appease him. In certain circumstances where it becomes evident that no matter what lengths we are willing to go to in order to satisfy a homeowner, it becomes evident that they are unwilling to be satisfied.
I would encourage anyone reading this review to read all of our reviews as they better indicate the excellent service we provide.
