We hired Galaxy to pack up our belongings and store them until we could move to our new home. I do not recommend this company at all and yes I am a real customer. The representative from Galaxy came to my home and viewed all of my furniture before giving me a very good quote. Then on the day of the move the movers disappeared for hours with half of my belongings. When I called the company to question this they said their truck was too small. So I was charged extra! And that was not the only extra charge. There were many. The state of my belongings when I got them back was very discouraging. Most of the wood furniture was badly scratched. Dishes they packed were broken. Two lamps were broken. Upholstered furniture was stained and dirty. In one case we found a bag of Wendy's take out on top of one of the dining chairs. It contained the remains of a chili meal and pop. Needless to say the stains were awful. But worst of all, they dropped my piano off the side of their truck. I watched this happen. Despite promising me compensation for this ... all efforts to claim on insurance were ignored. I finally let it go. It's not worth the stress to try to deal with this company.

This is a complete lie. "From an anonymous person" We move hundreds of pianos a week and have never "dropped" one of the truck. Obviously it's a competitor.
