I had sought out this company for have my shingles replaced on my roof. They gave me a quote and then suggested I go thru my insurance as there was hail damage. Great, will do! Not great. My insurance company held this up for months and months. Chris was amazing to deal with up until he decided a new quote had to be done as this was now going thru insurance and some time had passed. Fine. To my surprise the quote was $2000 more!!!!! Ended up not going thru insurance as I couldn't wait any longer (my roof was really bad) and they refused to adjust the pricing. Chris disappeared all together and I was left dealing with Angela. $2000 increase over an 8 month period is INSANE! Roof was done, they did damage to my siding and I found a few nails (thankfully not in my dogs paws) I think this company normally would be amazing. But to end up with my experience was less than amazing :(.

Approximate cost of services:
$8,000.00

Company Response

Hello Tamera,

I am sorry that you feel this way, the explanation to this price change is due to us working off of Xactimate pricing the software used by insurance companies which gives us a fair average based on the work involved for the area. Quoting insurance at one price and charging you a lesser amount so you can profit from an insurance claim is unethical and could be considered fraudulent by your insurance company.

It is not uncommon for insurance companies to request paid invoices for proof of the work being completed.

With regard to the siding damage this was never reported to our office, even though the siding was also paid out by your insurance company due to hail damage.

As for the nails all attempts are made to make sure that nails are picked up using a magnetic sweeper but longer grass can make it difficult to magnet. This is a very common thing and as with the damage to the siding we cannot correct a problem if we don't know about it.

Again my apologies for the negative experience, we as a team will use this experience as a learning experience to inform future clients of the insurance process and what to expect.

If you have any additional feedback back, questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Regards,

Chris Claughton
