I had 6 companies come and quote the waterproofing work required in my basement. Quotes ranged anywhere from $1-10K...totally wild. I hired Mario as his price was great & he displayed confidence and experience. Mario and his team worked hard and did a solid job. While digging in my basement, his team also repaired a a separate issue I was having, saving me the cost of an additional tradesman. The crew from MMT cleaned up so well, you couldn't even tell they were there. Highly recommended.

In January, I noticed that the basement walls had mould and water was collecting in the South East corner of the basement floor. When the drywall was removed, the insualtion and framing were dry. It was then determined that I might not have a crack or leak in the foundation, but that water was seeping up through my basement floor. Mario explained why I had the problem and how to fix it. He answered all my questions and was easy to get a hold of when I had more questions. We decided to lay weeping tile along the inside of the foundation walls. Other waterproofing companies I contacted suggested replacing the outside weeping tiles. Mario explained that if the water was trapped under the house, which it seemingly was, an outside trench would not provide a path for the water to escape. No sooner did they start to dig the inside trench, than the trapped water under the house found it's new path and was guided away. My contractor suggested we not continue with the renovation until we were sure the waterproofing had fixed my issue. Last week, after the big rain storm, my basement was still dry! Thank-you Mario and your crew! Once the job was scheduled, Mario and his crew were on time and worked until the job was complete.

I was never as impressed with a trade as I was with Mario and his crew. I waterproofed my entire foundation in two stages. First stage was a single wall in August of 2011 and then remainder of the foundation in October of 2012. Before first stage I made sure to get quotes from 7 different companies. They all came out to assess the job and I was very disappointed with some of their solutions (waterproofing from the inside when there was a clear access to do waterproofing from the outside) and it seemed they were more interested to selling me their product than they were interested in providing a better and more long term solution, in my opinion. MMT Waterproofing however was very clear and honest in their approach and clearly aware of their competitive advantage when compared to other waterproofing companies. My choice was confirmed to be the right one when Mario and his crew showed up, did exactly what they said they would do and even contacted me about a minor detail that wasn’t planned for, but wanted me to know about it before they proceeded with the work. Initial job in 2011 was completed in about 8 hours. For the second stage, I saved myself a lot of time and contacted Mario immediately when it was the time to do the job. This was a more extensive job, but MMT impressed again with their detailed explanations on how they would go about solving unexpected problem that was discovered following the excavation. They also went out of their way to keep the area clean by keeping the dug out soil organized and on a tarp and minimize disruption to other trades I had working on the house. Final clean up and finish of the job was also spotless and MMT crew also roughly replaced disrupted portion of my interlock walkway. Both jobs were well done and I would highly recommend MMT Waterproofing to my friends and family.

I needed waterproofing done. Many companies I called had a charge just to come out and give an estimate. Mario from MMT was great. He was punctual. He gave a free estimate. He worked hard to complete the job on time. He cleaned up thoroughly after, and he showed me what he was doing along the way so I knew he was doing the job properly. The concrete he had to remove was about 10" thick, instead of the 4" he had estimated, but he still honoured the quote he gave me, which was much less than what other companies quoted. I was very pleased with the job they did, and I highly recommend them.

We had 5 quotes for this job, and Mario's was by far the best, which initially worried me, but it was a lot of money in difference, so I went with them. There was no need to worry though, because Mario was extremely professional in all communications, they did a great job, and started and finished exactly when he said they would. Highly highly recommended.

We had a number of waterproofing contractors provide quotes on performing external waterproofing at our house. We decided to go with MMT Waterproofing because (i) they clearly explained what they were going to do and provided a detailed quote for various aspects of the work, (ii) their pricing was good and (iii) Mario seemed like a stand-up guy. We are happy with the work. If you are looking to waterproof your basement I would recommend having these guys give you a quote.

We had found some mold in our basement when we purchased our house, and some water was leaking into the basement. After remediating the mold, I called 6 different waterproofing companies, and not only was Mario's quote the best quote between them, it was 3 times less than the highest quote. Mario patiently answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them), and explained everything clearly to my satisfaction. When it was time for the job to start, the team dug everything out by hand, and worked 9.5 hour days, even on Saturday, to get the job done. There were a few things that I asked them to do that were not in scope for the job, and Mario and his team did them for me without charging extra. They cleaned up everything afterwards, and even came back to regrade the dirt around our house after it had settled. Since then our basement has been leak-free. I would highly recommended them to anyone looking to get their basement waterproofed.

The workers did a thorough job repairing the cracks,applying a rubbarized and dimple membrane, and correcting the grade. They worked tirelessly from sunrise to sunset finishing the job in a day. They left the site perfectly clean. they dug everything by hand, which gave me some comfort since there were a number of electrical wires in the area. 4. Mario's quotation was highly competitive- a very fair price for the job done.
