CLI Electric definately provides high quality service and is always very punctual and dependable. Steve is always able to solve any problems he encounters. I would definately recommend them for any electric needs you may have.

Steve and Adam from CLI did a great job renovating my last project. They were always on time and on budget. The quote they gave me was also very detailed. I would work with them in future for sure and highly recommend them.

CLI were very professional and very pleasent to work with. They completely re-did the lighting in my kitchen and did a fabulous job. They worked with me, and accomodated my changes without any hassels. Adam did most of the work, and he was great! All new outlets and fixtures were measured and "levelled". They also removed a bunch of K&T that they found for a reasonable price. We were very happy with their work. They are real professionals!

Steve has completed many jobs for us around our home. He installed 14 potlights into the soffets and it looks amazing! He installed some switches around the outside of the house as well as around the inside. He fixed some switches indoors as well. His team was also very polite and new what they were doing. I will definitely call Steve back if I need more electrical work done. Thanks Steve and CLI Electric!!!

I would NEVER use this company again. I hired them to re-install a light fixture that was in danger of falling. They came promptly and re-installed and I was happy. However, three months later, the fixture came crashing down and did damage to the hardwood floor, wall and the fixture was destroyed. Glass was everywhere and the clean-up was massive. I tried contacting CLI numerous times and they have never called me back. They don't stand behind their work and I question the quality of their work. It has cost me nearly $800 to fix the damage, buy a new fixture and hire another electrical company to re-install. I do not recommend this company at all.

We would like to take this opportunity to shed some light on this review and to bring to the forefront just what exactly transpired. Upon arrival David was advised that the fixture (chandelier) had been improperly installed the first time and needed proper reinforcement (it was a heavy chandelier). There was also in issue with the chandelier itself being defective. Steve brought another electrician with him at the time because heavy chandelier work requires at least 2 guys. David was advised that to reinstall the chandelier would cost $500. He DID NOT WANT TO PAY OUT $500 and advised Steve to "just put it back the way it was". Steve did advise him that the chandelier would still be in danger of coming down without being reinstalled properly and that the fixture itself was faulty. David insisted that it be put back that way it was. We did exactly what he wanted! I don't understand why our reputation should be tarnished because this customer did not want to pay to have it reinstalled properly. Steve got a phone call from David back in late August stating that the chandelier came down back in May and wanted us to pay for all the damages and supply him with a new chandelier or else. We consulted with our lawyer and we were not responsible for any damages since he failed to have it properly installed. Also we don't appreciate being threatened with "or else". I find it rather odd that David would wait until August to call us. We did call him back but he never got back to us. We have done many chandelier installations over the years since we have been in business, from small ones to very large and heavy ones in multi million dollar homes, and we have NEVER had one coming falling down EVER (because we install them properly the first time). We stand behind our work 100%. We have many happy customers that call us back time and time again and refer us to family and friends because we provide excellent service and workmanship. We believe our track record speaks for itself here on Homestars by the many great reviews from our wonderful customers.

When we bought our new house, we knew that some electrical work was required. (Garage wiring was poor, some light fixtures were hanging by their wires, and the fridge was running on a circuit that had about 15 plugs and 5 lights.) After obtaining several quotes, we called Steve from CLI Electric. Steve was very professional and we were confident in hiring them. On the day that we scheduled it for, Steve and Adam came by to do the work. Adam was also very respectful, polite and extremely hard-working. I was expecting that, in the course of running a dedicated electrical line to the refrigerator, they'd have to smash the walls. Nope, I was wrong. They cut neat circular discs out of the wall to run the wire, and they were able to run it up behind a closet wall. The wall repair was made easy because of that. The light fixtures look great, and they even found an easy solution because I goofed up and bought a fixture that didn't quite fit. And the garage needed extensive work - replacing some receptacles, putting wires into proper conduits, etc. The end result looks great and is fully up to code! They worked a 12-hour day in chilly conditions. My wife and I were both very impressed. CLI Electric exceeded our expectations. They are hard-working, very professional and do high-quality work. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone. Thanks CLI!

Had some renovations done in my basement and CLI Electric installed some potlights and dimmer switches. I am happy to say that I was pleased with these services. The guys were very friendly and professional and I would use this company again anytime.

Had 8 pot lights put in our living room with a new line and dimmer switch. Steve was in charge of the job an I was very happy. The cost was exactly what I thought it would be. Very clean and kept working until it was done. There is some obvious dry wall repair which will have to be done but they kept it to a minimum. They even recommended a dry waller that specializes in the holes in the wall from the new wire lines. **Tip** If the electrician is not cutting out round holes in the wall and keeping the dry wall disks for the repair then find someone else. I had used another electrician years ago when we went from knob and tube and they just roughly cut holes in the wall which are still not 100% fixed even with a few attempts of dry walling over them.
