M.D. Pest Control had already been helping my semi-detached neighbors deal with a rat problem. It seemed that the problem was shared (the rat or rats were passing between the walls) and so we decided to hire them to try to solve the problem from both sides of the same building. My neighbors had already paid them $200, but it seemed that we could guarantee the problem would be dealt with if we got involved as well. So we wrote M. D. Pest Control a check for $200. The guy that was here the first time and who took my check was very friendly, BUT I NEVER SAW M.D. PEST CONTROL AGAIN! I called a few times to check in and they were very friendly, laughed a lot, BUT NEVER SHOWED THEIR FACES AGAIN! They told me from the beginning that they would come back in a week or 2 to check on the poison bait trap they put under my back porch. They said if they come by when we're not here that they would leave a card in the mailbox. FUNNY, THEY NEVER LEFT A CARD IN MY MAILBOX! I called at 3 weeks after the initial visit and the person I talked to said he'd call me back. He did, but had the nerve to tell me that they had been by 2 times already (NEITHER TIME DID THEY LEAVE A CARD SO I HAVE NO PROOF OF THIS!) And wouldn't you think that if it's their policy to leave a card for visits when the home owner is away, that they certainly wouldn't have forgotten to leave a card BOTH times? Now to make matters worse, they came by to pick up their bait trap when I wasn't home again and didn't even have the decency to leave a card to say thanks for using M.D. Pest Control, or 'we stopped by and picked up our trap.' I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF THEY EVEN FINISHED THE JOB, THE COMMUNICATION WAS NON-EXISTENT, NO COURTESY, NO FOLLOW UP, NOTHING. IN NO WAY WOULD I EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! I am thoroughly frustrated and feel like they took our money and ran!
