I called for service because the basement drain was leaking water. We were not able to locate the back up drain to the street so the plumber removed my basement toilet, put a camera down the pipe to confirm it was not backed up in the main line. He cleared the backup within my home plumbing, put the toilet back on and replaced the flush mechanism in one of my toilets.
He quoted about $500. I thought that would be for the whole job. Instead I was charged $500 just for him to put the camera down the line and additional $387 for the other work. Totally overpriced
