Hi Karen, ever since your first email, I've been trying to call you on your home phone and your cell phone, but I was unable to reach you. I left voice mails, which you have not responded to. I have also responded to your emails and wished to speak to you in order to resolve this matter. Please communicate as soon as you get a chance so we can set a time to meet. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have waited in vain since January for the return of my deposit.

I cancelled the kitchen renovation within 7 days of paying a deposit mainly because there was a demand to be paid cash for the job which I could not get the bank credit between bridging two houses at the time.

I requested a refund of my deposit and got many different stories including the deposit was for drawings, the deposit would only be 50% refunded. I did not sign anything that would support these claims.

I have now launched complaints with visa, BBB, and next step is small claims court. Shame on you for taking advantage of a working single mother.
