This is the third time we have used Rent a Son's moving service in the last year and a half. Each time we had a different crew of three "sons", and each time the move went very well and the guys were very professional. By the third move we were able to get a nice discount and because they now have larger trucks, we actually paid less for our final move than we did for the first two. Also the sales and admin. staff are great to deal with... all in all we enjoyed three relatively easy moves of a household of five within a year and a half and Rent a Son were a huge a huge contributor to that success!

- What could this company do to improve their services?
- Have an actual consultation with the client about how to prepare for the move. For example, what would be that best way to pack items, save money, etc. I know I am very prepared when it comes to moving, but I am sure other clients could use some assistance when it comes to packing ideas.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Get lots of boxes from the same place (i.e. home depot) so you can quickly and easily pack and stack all your items together. Use smaller boxes for heavier items (books and clothes), and don't be afraid to use one whole large box for larger/bulkier items. Label each box with EVERYTHING that is in it and which room it is to go into. Finally, use as much time as possible to prepare; leaving everything to the last minute means odd items packed together and unlabeled boxes, which makes for a very lengthy "unpacking".
