We noticed some wet spots in our basement and called Clarke Basements to provide us some advice on resolving the problem. Lucky for us it was not a major problem and it was able to be fixed from the inside of the house. The company was very clean and did a great job fixing the problem. I was surprised how quickly they were able to stop the problem. They used a special technique in injecting epoxy that bonds to the walls and creates a liquid tight seal. The whole process was very professionally done and all the work was done at the agreed upon price. There was no surprises and we are dry as bone. Hats off to the team at Clarke Basements. I would not hesitate in recommending Don Clarke.

After living in her home for 25 years, this year my Mum got a bit of water in her basement which freaked her out and upset her greatly. After doing research I decided to call 2 companies to obtain 2 estimates to get this situation taken care of for her. Mum is 86!! The first company, really, did not even want to take the time to even talk to me, or come out to her home! He said I will email you some information (which he never did). Sigh. My next call was to Clarke Basement Systems and what a breath of fresh air it was. From the service, to reception, to the Sales Person to our OUTSTANDING CREW, which was headed by ROB .... we were treated so well. Many calls to confirm, to reschedule due to a storm and follow up. Mum and I are thrilled and really really want to comment and THANK ROB and his team for their hard word, respectfulness of Mum's home and doing a fine job. NO water in the bsmt, and you can tell the pump is working and pumping water to the outside. Great system and great workmanship. Thanks again.

We met Claude at the Cottage show in Toronto. He gave all the information we asked for. Came on site to look at the project. The crew came to install the 2 pump systems on the appointed day and worked fast, explaining what they were doing. The crew was very polite and enthousiastic in what they were doing. Afterwards everything was cleaned up. We are very happy with the product and the work they did. Would recommend it to everybody.

In April 2012 we discovered that we had slow water seepage in our basement along one wall. We contacted Clarke Basement because of their reviews on Homestars, and we paid them to give us an unbiased assessment. Originally we were not planning to give our business to the same company that gave us the assessment (as we were worried about a company upselling what we needed) but Clarke's solution turned out to be the one that was recommended by other companies as well, their quote was very competitive, their approach was very professional, and they spent an enormous amount of time (two+ hours) one day explaining to my husband exactly what the problem was and how it could best be fixed. Making an appointment was easy. They turned up when scheduled and worked very efficiently. They helped us through the process of getting a rebate back from the city for the sump pump installation. In short, their service, work ethic, professionalism and knowledge was nothing short of stellar, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to any of our friends (although we hope we have seen the last of our basement woes and won't need their services again!)

We had some water damage on the ceiling and wall of our finished basement that we thought was coming from the foundation. Ron came to give us a free estimate. After thorough investigation, he found that there was a slow leak from one of our pipes. He was very respectful of our home and explained what he was doing step by step. He was polite, competent and cleaned up after himself. He even called a plumber on our behalf. Ron exceeded all expectations.

Mold, leak in walls - unable to be done from outside - encapsulation was only method. Done on time, service good, personnel helpful and polite. Few things to fix afterwards and they accommodated requests. Overall: Very Satisfied with this company, their sales staff and their technicians.

After the drywalls were removed, workers identified a problem with the foundation wall being bowing out. The president came to evaluate and suggested a remedied solution. The job was completed in a professional way and reasonable timing.

Clarke Installed a window well, and arranged to sub out the foundation cut and window installation to Fortress Window. Work on well was thorough and well done. Left property in great shape. Arranged to repari a small amount of damage to aluminum window capping with no hassle. Great communication, and assisted in identifying a non-related structural issue left by previous owner/builder for repair

Fitz Wilks, the service technician, did a thorough overview of our one year old TripleSafe Pump system and then proceeded to check and service each component, after which he explained in detail the steps he had taken to ensure that the system was in excellent working order.
