basement waterproofing system In May 2009, I had a crew from Clarke Basement Systems (Jose, Edgar and Andrew) come to dig up my basement rec room to install a "waterguard perimeter waterproofing system" and a sump pump. I was expecting the job to take 2 days--the crew arrived at 9:30 a.m and were finished and cleaned up by 2:30 p.m. I was impressed with how well they worked together and how cheery they were, even when I kept interrupting them to ask questions, which were all answered simply and patiently..It was pleasant to have a crew that worked so well together and made it fun to have them here. I would highly recommend them. Thank you guys...

Totally overpriced for the quality of the work

Waterproofing and sump pump installation The installers were a nightmare; ignored installation plan and installed where the city and their own rep said they couldn't; made a mess and only partially cleaned up; extremely sloppy outside sealing; dragged a one day job into two days working only 3 hours a day. To their credit the company worked hard to correct problems but issues like this are unacceptable when customer is paying top dollar for a top quality service. Good news is that the system keeps basement dry but I could have had that without the hassle from another company for considerably less.

Fixed Basement Crawl Space Leak After doing my research which included the reviews on this site, I hired Clarke Basement Systems to fix a longstanding recurrent basement crawl space leak that had already cost me a lot of money. The work was done at the end of March, but I waited a couple of months before writing this review because I wanted to make sure that the problem had been addressed (unlike the work done by other contractors) and so far the result is entirely positive. I would definitely use this company again and recommend it highly. Their overall focus seems to be on excellence and everyone that I dealt with was pleasant, courteous and thoroughly professional.

basement water leak repair I contacted Clarke Basement Systems to provide a repair estimate of a recent water leak in my basement. Don came the next day and explained in detail the work that needed to be done and then provided a reasonable estimate. The repair work was done in a timely manner and the leak issue was resolved. The repaired wall was back to its original condition meaning you could not tell where the repair was done, the basement was also left clean. The service was timely, courteous and professional and there were no hidden costs above my written estimate. I have since referred 3 friends to this company and all have hired this company to do the work.

Professional Crew

Basement waterproofing Rob, Noel and Cavan were very professional and pleasant. Explained everything to me clearly. There were some tight spots to work around in the basement (gas tank, cinder block interior wall) but they managed to get the troughs dug. Left the basement neat and tidy when they were finished. I was very satisfied with the workmanship.

Basement foundation water leak Initial repair of water leak was prompt and there was no trace of a leak even after a record rainfall. There was however, a slight problem with repatched basement floor. Ezio Di Mattoia responded cheerfully and fixed the problem very quickly to my satisfaction. Great company to deal with.

Basement - Leaking We have been having problems with our basement leaking for quite some time now. Recently they was a rain storm and I spent most of the night sucking up water with the shop vac. That was the last straw, we had to get this fixed. I went straight to the internet and found Clarke Basement Systems. I am the type of person that does my research and I read everything I could. So I scheduled an appointment and met Ryan the salesperson. Ryan showed up on time with samples of all the equipment. I found that he was not trying to be the pushy salesperson and make me spend money on what was not needed. He seemed to be looking out for my best interests...is that even possible with sales people today? He was extremely helpful, explained everything in detail, was willing to put up with my constant questioning and was an all around nice guy. I was impressed and was ready to get the work done. After scheduling a day to have them come out, they arrived promptly on time and I met the crew. Jose, Edgar and Jeremy. They got right to work and were very fun to talk to. They did an amazing job, and when they left, the basement might have been cleaner then when they started. Jose took the time to explain the new sump system and how it worked. Even though do to my research I could have given my own sales presentation. Overall I couldn't be more impressed with the service, the work, and the equipment. I think it's starting to rain, and the shop vac has been put away. Ahhh piece of mind!
