From the time I contacted the company, through to completion of the work, my experience with the people at Finer Edge was top notch. Colin, Gordon and Derek were all extremely professional and lovely to deal with. Derek is, in my opinion, the finest wallpaper hanger in the city! Courteous, on time, and excellent work - worth every penny!

I contacted Finer Edge to paint my townhouse. I had such a positive experience with Finer Edge that I would most definetly recommend them again. Derek, the project manager, was excellent and very courteous. The team who painted my house were on time always and very polite and respectful. The work they did was outstanding. They cleaned up after every day! Not having to do all this painting myself has taken a weight off my shoulders. A few weeks before the birth if our child we called finer edge to do the job for us. Gord called me back within the day and had someone come by to provide a quote the next day. The workmanship was fantastic. Doug did a fantastic job and all the staff were lovely to work with. The project was completed on time and on budget. I would use definitely use finer edge for any painting needs we have and have recommended them to many friends. Thanks guys for a job well done!

The glowing reviews are all true. This is a terrific company, not the cheapest on the block but you get what you pay for and their delivery of service is impeccable.

We hired Bill, Colin and their team to come and paint and wallpaper the main floor of our house. The walls were riddled with holes plastered up because of insulation we had previously put in. When I got the quote for the work from Bill we compared it to a few other quotes and his was highly competitive. The whole team were extremely professional, came every day exactly when they said they would, were so fast, and very personable! The end result is absolutely beautiful! We also retained them to stain new staircase railings and they turned out perfectly. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had the pleasure of contracting with The Finer Edge to paint our home after a recent renovation. They arrived on time, cleaned at the end of every day. When we required a few extra things to be done, they arranged for it to be completed during the same time period, and most important of all, they returned to re-paint an area of our home that we had a minor problem with. We called in Finer Edge after our contractor messed up the drywall finishing and the painting in our newly renovated basement and prolonged the situation for weeks. Needless to say we were fed up so we called in the professional painters. Finer Edge did a great job, they were fast and reasonable.

This is the second time we have used Finer Edge. We called them in the summer to have them paint all of the wood trim on the exterior of our home and were so impressed that we called them again to paint our halls and dining room. Vince is always a pleasure to deal with and he and Colin, his associate, called and/or stopped by to make sure we were pleased with the 3 day painting process. The painters were also great, they were clean and friendly. When they started early in the morning they chose a section of the home where they would be the least intrusive during our early morning routine of rushing two young children off to school. I wish I had more rooms to paint but when I tire of these colours I'll be sure to call Finer Edge again.

We moved recently and the previous owners of our house were smokers. We hired Finer Edge to paint, freshen up the house and get rid of the smoke smell. This is the 3rd time we've used Finer Edge and they continue to impress us with their great service and quality workmanship. My house now feels like my home. The walls are bright and the smoke smell is gone. I highly recommend Finer Edge.

I recently moved into a home and wanted most of my rooms on the main floor repainted. With several holes in the drywall (from cables and curtain brackets removed), I did not want to do this myself. I got a quote from several companies, some from Homestars, and others from elsewhere. Although Finer Edge wasn't the cheapest, I decided to go with them because I liked whom I was dealing with. Vince came to quote on the project promptly. After we agreed, the project manager Luigi contacted me via email and introduced himself before coming in the next day with the painters. During the project, I had a couple questions/concerns, so I had messaged him on my phone and he responded promptly, which I liked. I felt that he was always available to answer any of my questions, even after hours. Two painters came (always on time) and did the entire project in 2.5 days, which was within their estimate. They did a great job patching up all the holes in the walls (and there were several in each room!), cutting the edges, and painting the walls. A couple of my walls were cold through this project (painting in winter doesn't help this!) so I was told that the paint was not drying fast enough. This resulted in some paint drips along my bottom baseboards. I worked through this with Luigi, and the painters cleaned it up the next day. If I had to come up with an "issue" for this project, it would be the cleanup. While I'm sure the painters did their cleanup properly, when I came home from work, I noticed the rooms were still dusty on the floors, and on my kitchen countertops. I had to re-vacuum all the rooms to make it more to my liking. I mentioned this to Luigi afterwards (I could not be there when he came in again for the follow-up) and he said it could have been caused by the paint particles and dust in the air settling after the painters had vacuumed. Regardless, overall I was very happy with their work and liked the people I was dealing with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a paint job.
