Hometurf Lawn Care Service

I have used HomeTurf for 4 years now and had a lot of landscaping done in 2 of those years which really did a # on my grass in sections. However with their care and no construction, my lawn has fully recovered and looks great with the service they have provided.

Yikes this company is absolutely horrific all across the board. Communication, bad. Customer service, bad. The actual quality of lawn work, absolutely bad. Not only is the work done poorly, they rush through whatever they're doing as if they have to somehow complete 10,000 houses per day. There is zero attention to detail given to anything. One of the main reasons I hired them was core aeration, and they did a phenomenally poor, super rushed job of it.

The communication between their support and the staff that does the job is also so poor. Half the time they didn't even access my backyard lawn, just left after doing only front yard!? Despite of speaking to their support repeatedly about this nothing changed.

I've seen companies that don't care as much, they at least do the job okay. These Hometurf guys are inventing some next level of subpar absolutely zero care or interest shown. It's actually hilarious how bad it is, unbelievable.

After several years I went back to Hometurf Lawn Care to care for my lawn. Extremely bad service, to say the least. Weeds are still growing and my lawn is full of weeds of all kinds. When you call them they say they will get back to me. Thereafter some gal calls asking to send pictures of my lawn. Why cannot they send someone to physically see for themselves the condition of my lawn. I will never go back to them.

Karen, was in the area applying fertilizer to the neighbors, and I approached her to see if I was on her list, she said I was but further on down the list, but went out of her way to do mine as well!! Very appreciative!!

I have been a customer with Home Turf for a few years now. The first couple of years were great. They would come to re-spray with no issue, and helped control Creeping Charlie with huge success.

However, things really changed this year. There is no advance notice of when a service will be performed, despite of my repeated requests. I had asked for aeration and overseeding to be performed in the fall. This morning, a technician came to do aeration and overseeding, again without advance notice. When I called the office, the office told me that there was a system glitch. The customer service rep. offered overseeding in the fall again, but not aeration, because aeration could only be done once a year.

Reading other recent reviews, I noticed a pattern of performing service without advance notification, and declining service quality. I am really disappointed with Home Turf this year, and would not recommend their lawn care services.

While I have nothing but praise for Hometurf, I do have one suggestion for the senior management team. It would be beneficial to ensure that all employees who provide services allocate sufficient time for each application. Whether it's fertilizer, weed control, surface insect control, or any other service, thoroughness is key. Ensuring that every corner of the property receives the necessary treatment will further enhance customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Hometurf Canada to anyone in need of top-notch lawn care services. I had taken their services last year but they should up yesterday at my place and did the work without any authorization and left me with the bill. No phone call or intimation before the service call. I called their customer service this morning and they were trying to give me a deal...like common, are you serious. They are bunch of unprofessional people trying to get $$$ out of you.

DON'T TAKE THEIR SERVICES! BE AWARE

I used Hometurf in the past and they did a decent jobs. The grass was green but there were still pleanty of weeds on the lawn which I dug up deligently. I didn't pay this Spring and this mornng the Hometurf truch came and I shouted to him that I didn't renew and he told me to call the office to cancel and he left. They used to leave a message to let me know when they would be making service call. There was none! When I called to offcie the rep told me that they had to verify with the technician or there would be a charge.
