We renovated our main floor in 2021-2022 to move and upgrade our kitchen and finishes. OGC provided an all-in-one service to design and plan the main floor improvements we wanted to make, and manage the project, including service providers and suppliers. The OGC workers were qualified, skilled, and the company's service providers were kind. I'm most grateful for the fact that they honoured the warranty when we had issues with our new flooring in 2023-2024, after the renovation. OGC quickly sent people to check out the problem and scheduled us in to fix the issue at no additional cost for expenses we'd already paid as part of our renovation (I chose a different flooring product, and only paid for the price difference). I would work with OGC again and recommend them. think the approved design based on new information (eg. placement of supporting structures and ducts): there was a wall I really wanted to tear down which we initially thought was load-bearing, and demolition revealed it wasn't. However, it contained multiple air ducts and cold-air returns. It was nearly impossible for me to make a decision about what to do on site, with HVAC and project manager on site waiting for me to tell them what to do. I would have needed an expert designer to investigate possible solutions to reroute ductsif anyso I could have obtained the open space I wanted. We ended up keeping the wall I wanted to get rid of so desperately, and today I still wonder if there might have been a solution. Most of their suppliers were great, except for the painting company they initially brought in who did a terrible job, but OGC made it right by sending in their own painter to redo the work at no additional cost of course, and he was great! I also encouraged OGC to reorder their project in a sequence so that painting happens before fixtures are installed: that first painter who did a bad job stained a bunch of doorknobs, hinges, tracks, etc.... But overall, I would work with OGC again and recommend them.

We just bought a house built in the 80's. The pilot light went out and we couldn't figure out how to turn it back on. We also wanted to get the fireplace checked because we knew nothing about it and wanted to make sure it was safe before we locked ourselves in with natural gaz for the winter. The rep was very kind, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. He taught me how to turn on our pilot light, and cleaned our gaz fireplace.

Our new house had loads of charm to us, but still looked like hadn't been painted in about 20 years. The previous owner may have been a DIY handyman who didn't care too much about the detail, as most areas obviously showed that only one coat had been applied. They put up crown molding, but stopped short without any touch ups or attention to cracks and imperfections. Finally, no 80's house is complete without stipple ceilings... We could see the drywall tape on the ceiling all over second floor! Ugh. The work to do to paint and remove the stipple in the whole house was immense, and we had plenty on our plate, so we called Jamie Drywall and Painting to the rescue. Jamie did SUCH an AMAZING job, our house looks 10 years younger: he transformed our ceilings, fixed imperfections in the crown moldings and painted the entire house. He was relentless in his pursuit of smooth, flat ceilings, in spite of the age of the house (thus uneven, imperfect ceilings). Pam and Jamie suggested work that they believed would be worth doing when we didn't think of it. The price quoted and the price we paid was very much aligned; no surprises there. And to top it all up, Jamie and Pam were delightful. We loved working with their family business. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.
