RO Filter installation

I hired Morrison Plumbing to install a reverse osmosis filter in a bathroom cabinet.
Both Joshua and his installer were very pleasant and professional to deal with throughout the transaction. The installer was on time and efficient in completing this small project, and his work was good.
I selected Morrison Plumbing based on its excellent HomeStars rating, and I was not disappointed!

very expensive for a simple job

I hired Morrison Plumbing to install a reverse osmosis filter in a 10th floor condo because I was concerned about the possibility of a leak that could damage a downstairs unit - otherwise, this would have been a DIY project.
Joshua's initial quote was $460 - I figured he had calculated in a margin for potential complications, since I had provided him with photos of the equipment to be installed and the cabinet, and he had identified some potential issues.
However, when his worker did the installation it was very straight forward and took less than 1.5 hours, so I expected the actual bill would be less than the $460 quoted. I thought $250 would be a reasonable amount for the time and work required, as I had supplied the materials. Nope - the bill was for the full amount. After a discussion, Joshua agreed to reduce the fee to $360.
The work was good; however, the high price for this job would make me reluctant to hire this company for a larger project.
