About Painting

This is our second project with About Painting and we have been exceptionally pleased with the company. Their staff are on time to the second, the quality of work is top notch, the staff are friendly and courteous, post cleanup was immaculate, and the price very competitive.

It feels like we are living in a brand new home.

We hired About Painting as our painting contractor to do our entire newly-acquired townhome in Langdon, just outside Calgary and we were not disappointed. They worked seamlessly with us on every aspect of the project and at a reasonable price. I have used a number of paint contractors through the years and About Painting delivers a very high standard of service. Rory did a fine job with our estimate and answered all our questions and offered suggestions when asked. Sean and his crew were early the first day and completed the project a day earlier than planned. they made our former rental look immaculate. It looked like a new home! They also send out an inspector a week or so after the job to see to any touchups and to ensure the customer is fully satisfied. Thank you About Painting for a job well done!

Very impressed with About Painting. Rory and Blaine and the rest of the crew were outstanding. Finished ahead of time and were very professional and personable. Cleaned up and made sure we were happy with the job before they left. Excellent follow up with Blaine for the final walk through. Would highly recommend them to our friends and family.

Very happy with my whole experience with About Painting. Rory came to give me a quote and he answered questions that I didn't even know I had. I got four quotes and this company had the best price for what I wanted done. Shaun showed up at 8:30 am on the scheduled day as promised and stayed until approximately 4:30 pm. He was able to get the job done in one day instead of two so I was only inconvenienced for the one day. Clean up was done very well also. The final walk through with Blaine was very professional and he also showed up on time (punctuality is huge with me). I would recommend this company for any work that you need done. What started as a stressful project for me was made very easy by everyone involved in the process!

Paint job was excellent. However, tons of trash, screws, nails and hardware were left around my home despite me specifically asking the painters to remove dangerous items due to small children around. Half empty paint cans left open to spoil. Rory was great on the initial consultation but his communication was by far the worst I have ever experienced, it was quite the headache. We were financially reimbursed for his lack of professionalism but would not recommend hiring this company for that reason alone.

This was a relatively small job. Just the kitchen(so far).
I am so impressed with the skill and care Rory brought to his work in our home. It is wonderful to find craftsmen who have respect for their work. I am very pleased. Bonnie Mende

They came in to measure everything. Asked about things that had not even occurred to us, such as if we wanted the inside closet painted. On day 3 there was some left over work to do. I had a believe during the day while painting. The painted was so flexible and agreeable in stopping work to allow for the furniture to be moved in and up the stairs. The work itself looks great.

We were impressed from first visit to job completion with About Painting - including the quote, designer consultation, initial paint application test and of course through job prep and execution. On time, on budget, looks fantastic and really appreciated the wall imperfection fixes prior to painting. Our home looks and feels brand new. Thank you About Painting - we would gladly not only hire you again, but would recommend to friends and family.

Very professional to deal with. Painters do a quality job and arrive on time and complete the job on time. No pressure is made to make a contract. Payment is made upon a final inspection. I will use this company again. I was NOT paid to do this review.
