Hired Poulin's services to determine if there were animals who had burrowed in a garage. Employee came out and set traps. Then called for next two weeks to follow up as well as he came out 2 more times to check traps. He was very helpful and we were thankful there was no issue with any pests - now we have peace of mind!
After severe rain last summer, had water damage in the basement and had to figure out the source of the problem. Had heard Abalon has been around a long time and so called for a consult. Guy came out within a week, looked and determined problem with foundation. On the spot, he explained how he would repair it, what other options are and the cost of the various options. We went ahead and hired them, they were very efficient in completing the job, called as a follow up and also there were no additional surprises with the total bill. Very satisfied!
After checking mattresses at several places, went to The Bay. Great selection and price range depending on your budget. Salesman was not pushy and answered questions. Informed me of great sales coming up so I could come back and get a better deal. Got a wonderful mattress for an awesome price, delivery was shortly after, the men brought everyting in and unpacked and set evertyhing up and made sure I was satisfied. Also got HBC points as a bonus! Would deal there again.
I went to order blinds to be installed. Employee was not upfront and said one thing, then the installer said another. There are choices of products, but Rona added several charges to the installation which were never mentioned until payment was due. Unprofessional! When I pay for something and am told what it will look like, I expect it and not all these additional charges. Product turned out well. Long process and should have gone elsewhere in the end.
I had prints framed at Dallas because he was upfront to begin with, went over options, I got to see samples in store (and lots of choices too), the service took a short time and the price quote I was given didn't change and there were no surprises. The prints look lovely and I have since gone back to have other items framed there. Great service and affordable.
