Initially, our kitchen island was not built to the specifications we gave and had what we considered an inferior piece of reclaimed fir used for the countertop-split end to end in one section. Kelly agreed to completely rebuild the unit but refused to replace the 1 1/2 " countertop he used on the rebuild with a piece finished to 2" as per our contract. Kelly believed our concerns to be unreasonable and exaggerated and abruptly dismissed them. We disagreed but he hung up the phone during our last conversation and would not listen to our attempts to resolve the problem; a very unprofessional attitude toward my wife and I.
