I have been living in my house for over 3 years now and was very displeased with the windows I had, they were the ones that slide up and down on a track, the ones in my bedroom were the worst, one window had no screeen but would open properly, the other had a screen but needed a piece of woood to hold it up. All in all bad windows. The windows always felt cold in the winter. I got 2 other quotes before settling on GEM, Seymour was very proffesional, Walter was great. He came and took the exact measurements and the windows were ready almost to the day he said they would be. The installation went very smoothly, I have seen panes of glass replaced but never the whole frame before. I learned something too. Thanks to all.

I would like to take the time to thank the Mr. Rooter team for coming to my aid 2 years ago. I bought this house in July 2007 and have been pleased with it. That is until my toilet backed up in the basement, I tried ungloging it myself, but to no avail I call Mr. Rooter and a team was sent out. They spent an hour or so with the snake trying to see the problem, trying to blow past the blockage and all. They had to do a dig and they discovered that the contractors who had redone to basement had taken a short cut and not taken the pipe out to the city sewer but had put a t-bar pipe and rerouted the pipe. I have finally gotten around to retiling the tiles in the bathroom and laundry room where they had to do the dig. There was a plug n my laundry room that was cvered up with a tile and I was concerend about covering it up again. I called Mr. Rooter again and talked to Fred Colley the operations manager. He came out personally within the hour to discuss this issue with me. We looked at all the plumbing and decided that since there is a drain right outside the laundry room and bathroom that it would be fine to cover it with a tile. I want to thank Fred for responding quickly to this.
