I was very dissatisfied with the service and quality provided by “Tim the Handyman”. I was very clear with my initial service request, sending multiple emails outlining the job - the workman was not prepared with the proper tools, nor was he willing to return with the proper tools necessary to provide the agreed upon project. He was in a very big rush to leave (was only there for less than 2 hours), even though there was still work to be done and there is a required 3 hour minimum. I understand my project was a small scale request, but it is an important renovation to me and I did not receive the respect or quality I should have received.

Approximate cost of services:
$100.00

Company Response

Most bathroom vanity installations plus plumbing cost around 250 to 300 plus, plus taxes and materials. We completed this job for the customer for less than 70. Not only that, but we did so on a Saturday noting that she was a referral. Numerous time we told the customer that we are really working hard to fit her in at such a low cost and that we wouldn't be able to do this for anyone else, but it doesn't seem as though our efforts were taken into consideration.
The materials not provided were some drywall materials that she had said might be needed after a medicine cabinet would be removed. Unfortunately we, and the customer, never clarified or mentioned that the cabinet was embedded in the wall which is considerably more work than simple removing one from a wall. This was a learning that we've certainly used since to always clarify details like this before going to a job.
