Owner (Mike) provided the option of an hourly rate, or a fixed rate quote based on his free walk-through. During the walk-through he provided many good tips for ensuring a smooth moving day, was extremely professional, polite, and offered reasonable rates. Moving day went smoothly and like clockwork. Mike and team arrived exactly on time in the morning, unrolled long protective mats on all surfaces, and worked extremely efficiently. Unloading went equally well, they happily accommodated a neighbor who needed the truck moved, and put everything exactly where we labeled it or where we asked them to put it. The movers finished early so we paid only the minimum ~5 hour fee. Only one small area for improvement that I could see was during clean-up and rolling-up of all the protective mats, some sand was shaken onto the floor of one of the rooms. However, we simply swept up that room without much effort. Lloyd Empires would certainly have my business again, and I wouldn't hesitate to refer Mike and his team to friends and family.
