Without even looking at our freezer the service man gave us a price of $333 paid in advance for the labour, saying that any parts required would be extra. We foolishly paid it. He took the back panel of the freezer off and melted the ice with a steamer for twenty minutes. He then announced that we needed a new thermostat for the freezer which he had to order that would be an additional $385. I asked him twice to show me the thermostat and each time he pointed to a different devise. He left after I told him that I didn't trust him. I checked the price of freezer thermostats at Amazon. The average price is around 20 bucks. I also suspect that he was expelled from the charm school he attended

We needed new pot lights for the kitchen and Vitaliy was the only contractor that actually came to the house to see what had to be done. The job was complicated because we had just had a leak from the bathroom above and the plumbers had to tear down part of the kitchen ceiling in order to fix the leak. Not a problem for Vitaliy, we received a quote then and there. He made the entire process very easy. His work was flawless, he was on time, friendly and he cleaned up thoroughly before leaving.
