I had needed a lap top for my school and decided to get an extended warranty to cover any defects or software issues. I had made this purchase in 2009 and required a technician to fix an issue with my screen and the charger. Each time they kept my computer for 3-4 weeks and fixed the issue without any cost .

I needed a propane tank for a bbq I was having in my backyard. I wanted to exchange my old one which was empty for a new one. After I had done this transaction I had to wait for several minutes for the clerk to open and show where they stored the new tanks. When he had arrived he told me that they were out of propane tanks and that I should refund my money. I just felt they could have told before making the purchase.
