a good speaker on the phone, but not the roof conditions as advertised. pricey, missed one appointment and late on the other. want cash on the spot after inspection. Worse still missed 2 other invoices in dispute completely till I told him so.

I NEVER ask for cash and she offered to pay without my asking. She got ripped off by a contractor who sold her a roof, electrical work, structural work and more besides for about $80,000. The roof job was OK but nothing else was done.
She might have me confused with the contractor. Her house is tucked away, well off O'Connor Avenue and I did miss my first appointment but kept trying and eventually we met.
She seemed amused at my geographical difficulties and not upset and I felt that we had a good rapport.
My rate was standard, $475.00, she gave me a check and I informed her that any further consultations were free up to any litigation.
This might be a case of shooting the messenger.

I asked for 5 quotes from various 90+ plumbing/septic companies, 4 of those gave me outrageous quotes claiming diastrious outcomes if not tended right away and none of them wanted to do any thorough inspection without first the use of a camera which would have cost another 2000 and have water pumped out for another 1000. Edriss of GTA was the first and only one who borrowed my shovel to check out physically the root of my plumbing issue and explained to me in terms I understood on the spot. Not only did they fix it well, they even planned ahead for me so I wouldn't have any problem from now on. And they covered old drain without me asking. Well Done! Thanks Edriss, Sleo, Ahmed and Bilail!
