Had to replace my deck due to previous owner not getting permit. Darrell got all the paperwork done including permits drawings for the deck and engineer. The crew did an awesome job kept me posted as to what was happening and worked in 30 degree weather. I also had glass instead of 2 x 2 and it looks beautiful.

I had to do renovations in the basement to get permit from Town of Milton .
DH group represented by Mr Darrell, was there to do all installations and repairs needed for the permit.
Very professional work done , and I strongly recommend it.

I am pleased to recommend DH Group. I initially contacted them to do my bathroom, but ended up going with a full renovation after meeting and getting a very reasonable quote. I am beyond happy with the finished product, and the fact that it was done within the project budget and timeline.

Newly purchased house needed updates to basement due to previous owners renos being done without a permit. I worked through my insurance company with DH Group. DH Group was fantastic- from filing all of the paperwork with the city, and keeping me up to date on what was going on. The work done was impeccable - there was significant plumbing and drywall work done - you cant even tell where they redid sections of walls! . The crew was professional, listened to and and addressed my concerns, and always cleaned up at the end of each day.

The We used DH Group and Darrell was our general contractor. Other than Darrell we didnt have any other contact with DH Group so Im assuming its his company.

When we signed our construction project contract with him, he passed the sniff test. He knew building lingo and construction terms, and wore dirty clothing as if he was busy at another job site. We checked references and LinkedIn and other business sources to verify him before signing. It quickly became apparent that he was creating an act to seem like he was a hands-on contractor for some reason. We are still confused why this happened. He subbed out every job and never swung a hammer at our site.

The consultant part listed on his business card was way more accurate. In the end, he caused more confusion with problems that came up than options for resolving the problems.

We ended up dealing with the trades he hired directly because it was easier for everyone. He rarely showed up to the house, unless things were going smoothly.

This isnt why we hired a GC. Dont waste money here, Look for reputable services elsewhere in the GTA.
