During the execution of the work, it was discovered that the electrical wire cannot be installed using the exiting underground conduit.

The alternative option is to install a new above ground conduit for the new electrical wire to come into the house.

The cost of this scope increase is 11% of the total project. The company has agreed to provide me a discount of $100 after further negotiation.

The company has cited that the majority of the cost is associated to the expensive material and no further discount can be provided (I have looked up the material cost and the companys claim does not add up).

Due to the excellent service provided and the overall pleasant experience, I have decided not to pursuit further on the pricing disagreement.

LESSONS LEARNT:
During the estimation phase, the other electrician has identified the requirement of running the line above ground, but the companys mater electrician has provided re-assurance that no new conduit was required.

I should have asked the company on the cost of running the electrical line above ground before signing the contract.

OVERALL, the work is done with excellent care, but the final price is 19% higher than the lowest quote from another electrician. I will ask for more details next time but the electricians from this company is very good.

During the negotiation of the price reduction, I was not offered the information on the cost of material and I have not received such information in my inbox. This information is no longer required and thank you for the offering now.
As for your latest comment on my pricing comparison, it is based on two separate quotes, emailed to me, from two independent ESA certified electricians. I have doubled checked their license validity on the ESA website. You and the other two electricians are all listed as licensed ESA electricians therefore I deem them to have similar capability as your to executing my project.

I needed wiring done so I could install an over the range microwave. I had sought numerous quotes and either been ghosted, given outrageous quotes or not replied to at all. Every interaction with this company was prompt and professional. They were able to fit my job in and get it done quickly and for a reasonable pri. Everything they'd done was explained to me after. I wouldn't hesitate to Everready again.

Well what can I say other than I'm speechless. My wife and I are super happy with end result. Everready Electrical is the best!

Contacted Peter (owner) on the Monday and by Tuesday morning, both of his electricians were at my door. Now this is what I call VIP treatment.

Kyle and Matt both paid major attention to detail and put so much effort in making sure both my wife and I were happy with the install.

They both took their time and made sure the positioning was exactly what we wanted. They even cleaned up after the install was done and was very careful with the light fixtures.

We got new pendant lights installed in the family room and 1 flush mount in main hallway.

The crew and team at Everready Electrical were wonderful to work with. Right from quote request to completion, we had nothing but a positive experience in their work that we added additional projects (overhead garage heater, power in gazebo, etc) along with the installation of GFCI spa package and the upgrade of power service from 100 amp to 200 amp panel.

They were knowledgeable, on time, accommodating, efficient, and worked around our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs.

EVERREADY.... Great, I was in a jam and needed some work done real quick. I found their number online and that was it . Very satisfied looking forward to working with them again. Would recommend to anyone.

So pleased with the way everything turned out in our basement. It went from "worst" to "first". Glad we were able to work together and go through each phase as we had discussed in our original plan. Each area is different from the other and yet all blends together beautifully. It is fabulous to have the storage that we didn't have before - both the walk-in and custom cabinets turned out so well. Everything is light and bright and welcoming. This brings me to say that I realized the absolute importance of proper lighting. We can now see in the basement, our kitchen and the garage.  It's that appreciation and realization that we don't need to use a flashlight just to see something or walk through a dim, scary space - we now have light and we are so happy. Each room is a special place - from floor to ceiling and each wall in between.

All of your team was fantastic - so professional, friendly and capable of doing their job effectively. Well done, Peter, and much thanks to Amaris for all her assistance. We had our old 100 amp fuse panel upgraded to a 200 amp breaker panel and the process was smooth from start to finish.

Amaris worked with us to arrange a day that suited us and explained the process.

On the day, the guys that showed up were punctual and professional. Everything went as planned and we're very pleased with the job.
