In the world of hugely shady appliance repair, I found Yevhen to be a breath of fresh air with his honesty, reliability and punctuality, not to mention his obvious very high level of competency.
He always showed up exactly when he said he was and was completely honest about what was wrong with the units (he looked at a couple of ours) I am very adept at fixing my own devices and am mechanically inclined, so it's a bit harder to pull the wool over my eyes as I check the costs of the parts and have a very good idea the amount of labour involved. Previous repair people I have had by the house were inflating the cost of parts, whether they were actually needed of not, sometimes as much as a 500% markup. I have no problem with someone making money from me as long as they are fair. Yevhen is more than fair and again I found his complete honesty and transparency very refreshing. He actually got me the parts at his cost (I double checked). I rate him 10/10 and so far the best service technician I have ever come across.

It was nice to find an honest and reliable appliance repair technician. Yevhen was right on time, professional, courteous and very detailed. Explained what the issue was, what caused it and how to prevent it in the future. He took the extra time and care to check everything else too. I will definitely use him again for any future repair needs.

I knew that a part needed to be replaced for my dishwasher so I sent the info in to Homestars. Yevhen responded within 60 minutes, got the part and came that evening to install it, and didn't charge extra for the super speed service. Very pleasant and professional. Thanks Yevhen!

Our dryer quit. Yevhen called back quickly, came promptly and fixed the problem that day having all the necessary supplies. I would definitely recommend him to others and have him back should other issues arise.

Yevhen responded quickly to my request for service for my ice maker and was available for an evening visit. He came to the appointment with the parts that may have been needed.

Yevhen installed a new cabinet-insert ventilation hood in our existing wood cabinetry; as the new hood is significantly larger than the old one, he needed to enlarge the opening in the cabinetry. He also disassembled the door on our built-in oven to clean four large, fragile, and quite dirty panes of glass in the door. He was professional, careful, and pleasant, and we were very pleased with the results.

You could either do the installation yourself and take several hours (ro even days) but Yevhen can do it in much less and cleanly. He will respond to your messages almost instantly and arrive on time. He was able to take down my old, greasy range hood in only 15 minutes. Then, he replaced it with a new and completely different-looking new hood in only 45 minutes. There are very few people left today who can provide such a prompt and professional service.

I tasked my son to find me a repair professional for our washing machine within a 24hour time period. (He was going to camp and needed clean clothes-our washing machine was spewing smoke) He found Yevhen, and hit the jackpot.
Yevhen came out and not only helped us with our washing machine, but also our microwave, and oven. He was on time, patient, and just a joy to work with. He is definitely the person to call.
