I hired Carrigane Plasterworks to drywall, tape, mud, and prime my 700 sqft basement that I am renovating myself. I also had a 100 year old plaster and lathe wall that had developed a bulge to it and hired them to make the wall flat once again. Ronan promptly came out to visit the house and make an accurate estimate of cost. He also suggested the most cost efficient way to repair the wall. Both Ronan and Stephen did an excellent job! When they ran into an unexpected snag, they promptly assessed the situation and took care of it immediately. They are punctual, hardworking, and tidy. The basement looks amazing and the party wall too! Many thanks for a job well done!

Highly recommend Carrigane Plasterworks. We had an extremely wavy 100 year old plaster wall going all the way up our stairs which was a real eyesore. After reading all the positive reviews, I reached out to Ronan and he immediately responded and came by to inspect and give a quote. The quote was more than fair and we decided to hire him. In less than 2 days Ronan and his team completely transformed our wall! There were 2 huge waves and now it looks completely level. And the plaster he uses combined with his skill left the wall looking and feeling smooth as glass. Super impressive. And the best part is, unlike drywall, there is no dust and the wall the rock solid and will likely last a lifetime.

Ronan and his crew couldn’t be nicer guys. They worked extremely hard and kept the place clean, covering our floors and furniture and cleaning along the way.

We originally hired Carrigane Plaster Works to drywall our kitchen a couple of years ago. They exceeded our expectations then, and we knew would ask them back when we were ready to do the basement. The original scope of work was to drywall 1300 sq ft basement, with 2 bedrooms with closets, full bathroom, utility room, kitchen, dining and living areas plus all ceilings.
Ronan and his team are professional through and through. The work was done as per agreed schedule, and price and they simply fix that small tuff that was not thought of by us when starting out on this adventure... if one can call renovating your entire basement that..

Ronan always had daily check points with us to make sure we were satisfied and to update us on any issues or direction/input he needed to ensure he was meeting our requirements.. during the job, we realized we did not have the time ourselves to Prime the drywall and asked Ronan if his company could do that for us.. He simply took the change request in his stride and made it happen once we agreed on the cost.
Needless to say, we are very happy with the work that was done and will refer them to all of our friends and neighbours if/when they renovate their own houses..

Ronan did an amazing job removing, plastering, sanding and painting our ceiling, which previously had popcorn ceiling on it. He was professional, efficient and meticulous about his work. Highly recommend his services.

Fantastic work on a challenging project - a series of built-in shelves out of plaster. Ronan & his team worked with us and our client to refine details and test materials to find the right mix of durability & aesthetics. Wonderful results. Looking forward to working with them again.

Ronan came in and did a fantastic job muddling and taping our second floor renovation of approximately 2200sq ft. He completed his work on time and cleaned up nicely afterward. Ronan also said he would come in after it was primed and touch up any areas. As a trades person myself it’s nice to see quality work done. I will be getting Ronan back to do some more work on the main floor in the future.

The job involved replacing and repairing lathe plaster walls & ceilings. Ronan removed damaged walls and debris and installed drywall where needed and repaired walls with cracks. The completed job was of a high quality and ready for primer and paint.

Recently purchased a condo which had popcorn ceilings and after removing it I contacted Ronan to skim and sand the ceilings. From the first point of contact to the last, Ronan was a gentleman.
