Pacific Hedge Tree Care

Pacific Hedge came to Naniamo to take down 20 Trees and did a perfect job falling them on my acreage. We would reccomend them to anyone. Tyler the main climber has a gift and really makes the customer feel as satisfied as needed before leaving. He also will travel from the lower mainland or to the sunshine coast to get the work done.

Pacific Hedge is easy to deal with, reliable, and did a good quality job. He was easy to communicate with, and did what was promised. What more can you ask for with a contractor?

1) Tyler Hoffman is young but reliable, organized and honest.
2) We communicated on the job to be done through emails and phone calls with affirmative steps. Each time Tyler prompted me to get proper blessing from the city and to do it properly. Most other I contacted just wanted to negotiate a better financial position.
3) when Tyler came to do the job, he worked very hard....too hard, did not even want a cup of tea or break. He worked from10 am till 4:30 pm and still had a smile on his face! His lips were white at the end of the day but he still stuck with it.
4) Friendly, mature, honest,and professional.
5) My neighbor and myself found his price more than reasonable, we are already recommending him to other neighbors.

When we bought our home, every part of the yard was overgrown. After PHL came, we could see our yard! In a day and a half over half a dozen hedges were gone, trees were felled and my kids could finally play tag!

We were in need of someone to remove a large tree in the front of our commercial site/apartment building so I contacted Tyler from Pacific Hedge. He was very pleasant when I called and he gave me advice on my next steps regarding city permits, etc. I was also very pleased that he was able to quote a price that fit within our budget. Once a time was booked, he confirmed our appointment the night before, showed up on time, and was a hard worker (even in -5 degree weather). We already have plans to hire Pacific Hedge back every year to do maintenance pruning on our other trees.

We had a very large (about 16') and unsightly hedge at the side of our property that would grow about 5-6' per year and was difficult to maintain, so we asked Pacific Hedge to take out the old hedge and replace it with an attractive and easier to maintain cedar hedge. It was a 3 step process, where Pacific Hedge came and within a couple of hours had removed the old hedge and had it packed into a container bin and taken away. They also gave a quick trim to our other existing trees and hedges in the yard. A second day they came to grind the stumps of the old hedge below the soil so the hedge would not return, and to make room for the new hedge. On a third day they dug a trench and planted our new cedar hedge. Something that really stood out to me was, one of the new trees we planted did not take and died. Tyler, did a spot check on our place without my asking and noticed the dead tree and replaced it without charge with a fresh live one. The hedge looks healthy now and so much better than the previous eyesore.

Tyler from Pacific Hedge has done some amzing work on hwy 1 with the new lane being built between 232 street and 264 street. we will be getting Tyler back to do more tree work on the hwy. Great Climber, Great Info on all Trees!

We had 26 trees of various sizes to be removed within feet of our house and the neighbours house. We called Pacific Hedge and he came out the next day to quote and was out cutting down the trees two weeks later. It was great service and he was excellent in topping them without having them fall on either house :) The education/experience he has shows.
