Our parents recommended us Hometech Windows and Doors for our renovation project after they replaced their windows in the summer 2012. My parents were so happy with the company that we did not even consider dealing with a different company. We replaced all the windows and doors in the house and just have a patio door left to do- which we will be doing later this year. We were impressed with how many different options they had for doors, and that we didn't have to go with just a generic door but got to design our own. The whole process was smooth and fast. The staff was very professional and friendly and did an amazing job and we couldn't be more satisfied ! We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for fast, professional services.

Replaced old inefficient windows in the house to new triple pane windows. Noticed a huge improvement from the utility bills through cost savings. Service was great and recommended them to others. Only recommendation would be for the company to use a bit more spray foam around the new window to seal off any possibility of cold air getting in the house

We hired this company to install new windows throughout our house and new front and back doors. We had some minor issues throughout the installation process...brought wrong door, workers left a big mess, broke a outside light. We had to have our home inspected as a foster home. Inspector said that none of the bedroom windows met code for the opening size...we had 2 weeks to fix it or lose our foster son. Company argued that the inspector was wrong...when told I would take them to court they finally agreed to remove the windows and doors and return our money...hired a different company to install new ones.

Installer was courteous, professional and very efficient. Answered any questions I had and gave detailed instructions on operating windows. Installation was on a Sunday which fit my schedule perfectly. Price very reasonable. Would (and have) recommended the firm to friends and family.

We are at one of the renovation shows and looked around to find the best patio doors for our property. We were impressed with home text patio doors, They said that they could put in the patio doors for $2500. I guess we waited too long to put in the doors so the price went up, We paid a little bit more than the 2500 which we were not happy about it but happy to get the service done by them. I also asked if they could do a custom window they never replied to me for that until the install the Patio doors. Other than a few problems we found that they knew their stuff and they were very good about it. The things we did not like was the price increase and they did not get back to you in a timely matter about the custom windows. We were happy with the end product and how patient they were But I just assumed it because they were so busy. As it took a while to install the patio doors. Over all we were happy and we would recommend them.

The installers were great once they had the windows they were in quickly, it only took 2days to remove and replace all windows and very clean. Head installer was also friendly and informative he answered all questions and concerns windows look great!

I chose HomeTech on referral. David from HomeTech came out to our house within days of calling for an estimate and provided us with an initial recommendations and quote . He arrived late in the day to suite our schedule. Within a couple weeks we contacted David again to finalize the estimate and arrange to have someone come out to do the detailed measurements of the windows. We had 9 windows replaced, a three section bay window and our patio doors. The windows were manufactured and ready earlier than expected and we had the installers scheduled for three days. Install date December 6-7, 2012. The two gentlemen that came out were polite, professional and on time. They had arrived just before 9am and left just before 4pm having installed all units (with exception of finishing trim on the bay and capping outside). They returned the second day to complete the job. Throughout their work they maintained a very clean workplace, and due to the cold temperatures, only removed one window at a time. I might add that they were a bit shocked on arriving as they were not told that my house was currently in a bit of a mess as we are in the final stages of completion of a new home (which we expected possession a month ago) and the house currently held two households full of furniture/personal belongings, so the workspace was very limited. We managed to maintain some access to the windows and the two installers worked through it with no complaints!! The job was completed in much less time than i had anticipated and with very little disruption. We are very impressed with the quality of materials, the operation of the windows (the sliders also pivot open to give full opening access in the bedrooms, ingress/egress requirements) and the overall looks. The difference that the windows make on the inside of our 25yo home is amazing, brighter, cleaner and visually appealing. Although we have done this reno for resale value, i wish i had done it years earlier. The bay window now has an opening window with screen (never did before and desperately needed) and the patio doors look amazing with the miniblind inserts. There is a significant difference in the air around the windows (our family room couch is just below a window and always had a cool draft coming down from the window, now unnoticable). Also, I've noticed a definite reduction in the amount of noise i hear from outside, a benefit not considered. We talk about the new windows with all our friends.
