This review is long overdue, as was finally getting the repair of our kitchen sink drain done. Two weeks before Christmas, we contacted A Marco Plumbing to see if they could do anything with our totally clogged kitchen sink. This sink had been like this for a long time, and despite many measures and methods to fix it, nothing worked. Two days after phoning the company, Steve (I think that was his name) arrived in the morning and after 5+ hours, our sink was working like a charm....and still is 6 mos later. With previous attempts to fix this problem (not by A Marco plumbing) the sink would clog again within several weeks. What should have been a relatively easy fix, became an incredible challenge for this very knowledgeable (and personable) plumber. We had had the very same problem addressed years ago by another company and it was discovered they had redone the downstairs pipes incorrectly, causing grunge, sediment, sludge, etc., to build up over the years. Steve had to revamp/redo the piping, clean out all the gunk, and then refit the sink piping. To add insult to everything - this pipe-clogging junk stunk! Unfortunately, I do not remember the cost, but do remember that for all the work, it was very reasonable - and we would have gladly paid double just to have this ongoing problem finally rectified. Definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Being a single female who owns my home I'm often asked by contractors "does your husband deal with these things?" Or "Do you need to speak with your husband?" I am very skeptical when it comes to calling contractors for fear of being ripped off. When I read the reviews of A Marco Plumbing on this site, I felt a bit more at ease. I sent them an email in inquiry and was called the next day. An appointment was also scheduled for me the following day. When the gentleman came to my house he was more then professional and took time to actually investigate why the issue I was having is occurring. I was satisified with the outcome and would strongly recommend this company to my family or friends.

A Marco Plumbing came to my house to replace a broken closet flange. They came the same day that I called and fixed things in no time, it also looks amazing. I had them previously install a new toilet in another bathroom and the work was excellent.

I have used their services before and found that they are always prompt, efficient and fix the problem quickly with very little downtime. I have recommended them to many people in the neighbourhood.

Marc was very helpful. Explained what was wrong and how he was able to fix it. He was personable. Good customer service. He explained what the cost would be and why. Thank you for your work.

The copper pipe in the laundry room started spraying water all over the basement late Sunday night. I called Marco Plumbing first thing Monday morning. The girl was helpful on the phone and said she would send someone over on his first call at 10am. Gary arrived early and fixed my problem in a half an hour. Also did a little fix to stop my tap from leaking for free until I can afford to replace the taps! Will definitely call them again. I am going to need some plumbing done in the future so they are my company!

I had recently moved to a new house and had the kitchen faucet replaced. About two weeks later, I came home one night only to find the kitchen flooded - a small river running through the kitchen, down the stairs & into the basement! Turns out the plumber who installed the faucet (and replaced the valve), didn't do the value attachment/solder correctly. Anyhow, I called A Marco and they had a plumber at my house within the hour. The A Marco guy re-soldered the valve attachment, and it's been bone-dry/ no leaks ever since! Thank goodness for A Marco, what a relief! Highly recommended!

Called in the morning, they came by in the afternoon. I think the person doing the work was a trainee of some kind because the boss was with him. Anyway, clearly the boss has an excellent work ethic because he insisted that the trainee fully snake the drain rather than do a half-assed job. They both did an excellent job cleaning up and were very friendly. Providing that all trainees have the same work ethic instilled in them, I would definitely use them again. A bit on the expensive side in my opinion but I paid for peace of mind.
