Galaxy Windows

We are extremely satisfied with the work we had done by Galaxy windows. I'm no expert, but I think the windows are a very good quality and the new custom door they put in fits the very strange opening beautifully. To clarify, we inherited what looked like a homemade job on the basement door - everything was gappy and crooked. Galaxy put in an insulated door that is straight and true and fits as it should, tightly - what an improvement! We had a couple of small issues, one of which turned out not to be an issue at all, and both times Dmitri was on it right away and said they'd do whatever they needed to do to make us happy. You don't hear that very often these days! The two men who did the work (Vlad and another whose name escapes me), did it all in one day and worked tirelessly until the job was done. Only one quibble - if we had it to do over again, we might have chosen windows that were more symmetrical - on ours, the slider side of the window looks considerably smaller than its other half. I only mention this so that others will look into all options available from Galaxy, which we didn't do ( I'm sure most people would not care, but I'm a bit of a symmetry nut) All in all, a great job!

Galaxy did a great job with our new windows. Dmitri was great with answering all questions and concerns prior to installation, demonstrating the product and providing a great quote. He came by to check on the installation which was an added bonus. The installers worked very hard and fast and cleaned up after installation. The result is really good and we would recommend this company.

We recently had all of our windows and patio door replaced by Galaxy windows. The quality of the product that they use is excellent. The glass is matched to the climate region and the casements are manufactured here in Canada. The job took one day to complete for the entire house, and was very involved. They capped the existing lintels which makes for a very clean look. The work was done professionally and we are completely satisfied with the way our house looks. I would recommend Galaxy to anyone,

We recently had three windows and a French door installed. The job was being done on our 120 year old house so it wasn't a simple undertaking. Dmitri was super attentive to our requests, provided a great quote and even came by to check on the job in progress. The two installers (Shame on me for forgetting their names!) did a fantastic job of enlarging the old window openings and putting in a beautiful French door. What I considered a huge job, these guys made look so easy! We couldn't be happier with the quality of workmanship and the attentiveness of Galaxy WD! Huge recommendation!!

You know the feeling: you keep expecting something to go wrong because it always does. The price will be unexpectedly higher, it'll take longer than planned, the crew will damage something.... Who knows what will happen, but it can't really go smoothly, can it? Well, it did. Dmitri did a great job assessing our needs, gave us a good price and organized the installation efficiently. The crew was very forgiving when I had to reschedule, and they did a very good job of installing the windows quickly and cleaning up when they were done. And so far, no leaks!!

Project just finished today, eighteen windows were replaced, including two enlarged windows and a new window cutting from wall. I'm so glad I've made the right choice to have Galaxy windows do this project for me. Dmitri and his team delivered everything as promised at about six weeks ago when we signed the contract. The team are professional, everything including preparation, installation, and cleaning are near flawless. My special thanks to the installer Vlad, I have been hiring contractors for various projects for the last few years, never seen anybody doing such an excellent job as Vlad did. I'm very happy at all, thanks Galaxy Windows. I will recommend them to everyone who's thinking of doing a windows project.

Had my sliding door replaced as well as a small window in my cold room. Demitri was very informative and extremely professional.

We contracted Galaxy Windows to install new windows throughout our home as well as the front door and side light. Not only did they give us a great price but they also did an amazing job! Alex and Dmitri installed our windows/door and they were very professional. Our job took 2 days, and they worked both days without taking a break - they also paid very close attention to detail. We contracted Galaxy windows after we had received 3/4 estimates. Demitri was the only person that contacted me immediately. Polite and professional he worked with our schedule to come out to our house to give us a free estimate. Others had me measure the windows and would only quote me online. So I instantly liked Demitri hands on approach. He explained thoroughly why Galaxy widows are superior from the competition and how they are made with examples of windows and the slide show of the factory. He spent over 2 hours with us going over the product, we didn't have to think twice of who we wanted to have install our windows. We had a very bad experience with a contractor who left us high and dry with our basement so we were very cautious of who we choose to install our windows. It took 4 weeks for the windows to be ready and they worked with our schedule to pick a date for installation. The arrived earlier than anticipated which worked to our advantage and got to work instantly. They did an amazing job. They couldn't finish the job the first day as they ran into problems with the previous installed windows. The graciously cleaned up as much they could for that day and arrived on the time the following day. They finished off the job and took away all the debris and left the place clean. They asked us to open /close the windows to make sure everything was working correctly and that we were happy. We were very impressed with their hard work and commitment to the job. Demitri dropped by the first morning to hand us the warranty and to make sure everything was ok, and for me to call him if I had any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend using this company for window replacement/doors. Our windows are fantastic, love them!
