After checking a few different contractors, I decided to go with CoreTemp. The price was a bit more than some, but it was worth it for high quality equipment and professional work. There were no hidden costs, and I paid exactly what was on the estimate. The installation was a bit difficult due to limited space for the vent, and my house is quite narrow. They worked around it very well, Everything was wired/plumbed in very neatly and they cleaned up after the job was finished. I waited a couple of weeks to make sure everything is working nicely before posting a review. everything is working flawlessly, and i love the tankless water heater! (i know i will probably not save any money over its lifetime, but I never run out of water, and no surprises in the shower with hot or cold water when i least expect it. That is worth it to me :) )

We contacted Richard a little after 6 AM due to a no heat condition with our Ruud Ultra furnace. They arrived in less than 2 hours and had us up and running aging quickly. Snow had blown into the intake for the furnace causing a no start. I would highly recommend Core Temp as their service is second to none !

We moved into a new home and needed to replace a furnace that was on its last legs. After meeting with several companies we decided to go with CoreTemp due to the quality of the initial inspection (Richard diagnosed and fixed a problem with the filter after only a few minutes in the house)and frankly just a good feeling about Richard and the company as whole. I have to say that we were not disappointed. The level of service from Richard and his team was very high; they arrived when they said they would, delivered on their promises, didn't rush the job or try to cut corners and took the time to answer all my questions and ensure that I was happy with the work. It was a very good experience and a job well done.

From Day 1, Richard would comment on their business integrity to stand 100% behind their work – guaranteed. For installing a critical appliance in one’s home – this was a unique selling point. True to their word – we had one repeat visit after the work was done to assess their installation of the venting system. No hassles, no questions, just a visit to check on their workmanship – ensure (again) that we had peace of mind, and off they went. I would absolutely recommend CoreTemp to anyone who expects quality workmanship, friendly efficiency and above all – a genuine commitment to great customer service.

Mike and Steve went the extra mile to make sure everything was working properly. Which meant daily visits for over a week, with no pressure from me to make sure it happened.Would not hesitate to recommend.

November 15 @ 9Pm. The furnace (bought in July 2010) would not kick-in. I called Richard who came within 30 minutes. A hose was plugged. He changed it and made a small alteration to ensure it would not happen again. Once a sale is made, it is easy to worry about getting the service. Not with Richard. He takes this serioulsy and demonstrate as much devotion to servicing a client that he does selling and installing the right product. Sales and Service- that goes together with Core Temps Heating.

After desperate calls to several companies re the lack of heat on a Friday afternoon, no one would be available until the following week (including the one that had cleaned our furnace 6 weeks earlier). Richard from Coretemp arranged for one of their guys to come out as a last call on the Friday evening...efficient, competent and charming service from Michael Calabretta had the system up and running in short order! No upselling or unnecessary parts, just the charge for a regular service call. They restored the warmth, and our confidence that there are still professionals out there that put the customer first!

Setting up the install was a breeze with a quick e-mail. Mike, the HVAC installer, called before hand and arrived on time. Removed and disposed of the old humidifier, set up the new one in less than a few hours. Answered all my questions well. Had a small snafu with the water line to the humidifier having a pinhole leak in it because it was left resting up against the super hot exhaust gas pipe from the furnace. But Mike did a great job of fixing it and securing the water pipe away from the exhaust pipe. He also gave me a free pad replacement for next year. Mistakes happen, its what you do in the face of these mistakes that really matter to me and Mike did a great job. Update: I have to update this review to a lower score here. The humidifier did not work at all. In fact, the installer hadn't even tested that the thing turned on when first installed since the power supply he used was from the old humidifier and that supply wasn't even powered. When I called the company they sent someone out very quickly (next day) and got it all fixed but its something so simple that it should have been tested in the first place which is why I'm dropping this a few points.

Richard and his crew did a fantastic job replacing my furnace and A/C. We are very, very satisfied! Right from the beginning his no-nonsense approach, expert advice and outstanding service made it easy to go with him. His quote was very reasonable and he avoided quoting every piece separately (condenser, humidifier, piping, etc). Now that the work is done, I can definitely say that Coretemp deliver on their promises!
