Spray Foam Coatings

I had been looking for someone in the Toronto area to apply spray foam for a basement renovation that I was undertaking. I had a guy all lined up, but when it was time for him to come in, he wasn't responding. So I called Tom at Spray Foam Coatings who I had talked to a couple of months back to get a quote. I gave him the dimensions over the phone of what I was getting done. Price was competitive and I asked when it could be done. He was available that Saturday which would allow him to get it done, and then I could get back to moving with my work. He showed up as scheduled at 8am. It was a very cold day in January and he had to warm up the gear before he started. When he did, we were done in a couple of hours. Everything cleaned up and a great job was done. Basement was warmer feeling immediately. All the nooks and cranies were covered. No gaps like bat insulation. Price for spray foam is more that the bat stuff, but you get a much tigher seal.

I was looking for a company that would do the job right and wouldn't cut corners and I found it with Spray Foam Coatings.
I contacted Spray Foam Coatings to get a quote on insulating a crawl space under an addition that was added to our house by the previous owner. The crawl space had a clearance of only 18” from the ground to the bottom of the joists, and had little to no insulation in some areas.
Tom, from Spray Foam Coatings came by within a day to provide a quote and made some suggestions to improving the access to all of the crawl space area, to ensure that it would be sealed 100 % after the application of the spray foam insulation.
I called back to set up an appointment after removing all of the old insulation and they worked around my schedule on doing the work, which was very helpful.
When they came back to do the work, Tom and Henry arrived on time, did the job that they promised to do, which included an application of spray foam coating to R31+ between all the joists and a spray foam coating to all of the air ducts in the crawl space area.
This has made a huge difference to the comfort inside.
I would strongly recommend them to anyone.
