    I'm ordering my Eco by Cosentino countertop from Lowe's. They have the best price going at $70/sq. foot. Tina has been very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The project is not done yet but I'll update with photos asap.

    I have lived in King City for 25 years and we really needed a large store like Lowe's. I renovated a couple of homes and have found this store to have a great selection. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant. They are very knowledgable.

    Initial Estimate for Kitchen Renovation

    Subcontractor Not Found | KC in Toronto -79.3884 43.6978

    I wrote a positive review of the store for its products. This review is for getting a subcontractor for a kitchen renovation. Although the in-store employee was helpful in asking my questions, she did not seem as sure of herself re: more complex questions I had but so be it, it's a big box store. The aggravating part was a Lowes subcontractor was supposed to respond within 48 hours to arrange a measurement of my kitchen dimensions. How hard can that be? Well 5 days later, nobody responded except for a lone voice mail left to me after I had to pester Lowes. After calling back their subcontractor, no response. Also I don't know why Lowes would recommend a subcontractor in the 705 area code given I live in midtown Toronto so contacting the person always involved long-distance charges. If subtrades can't perform simple tasks like returning phone calls for a task that only involves pen, paper, and tape measure, that's sad. Lowes lost my business for the reno. The saving grace was there was no hassle on the refund for the $100 for the measurement I had paid.

    i like this store becuase everything is well organized and labled, and a nice range of prices to select from. There is help buttons when you need it compared to other stores in which you can never find anyone for help. The staff is very knowlegible

    Lighting product

    I was looking for a lamps for the longest time. I've been to several home stores to look for the style I wanted. They either didn;t have it or the style I liked. So I saw the lamp and shade and it was the perfect one for our room. I liked it so much that we bought 2 others for our rooms. I know I'll be back at Lowe's.

    Counter Top Estimate

    Lowe's and the Countertop | Nicole in Scarborough On -79.2625 43.7292

    We have recently had Lowe's in to give us an estimate on getting a new countertop. We have been dealing with the store on Eglinton and Warden. It has been a very good experience. They came in and measured and got back to us quickly with the estimate. We are currently waiting for our counter top to come in and then they will come and install it. Very easy to work with and not overly pricy.
