Joe The Mover

We're a condo developer so we have different sales centres and they're responsible for moving all of our sales centre furniture as well as internal moves in the office (if we have any renovations). We also do storage with them and they're always amazing to work with. I've gotten a lot of quotes from other companies but I always go back to Joe the Mover because their prices are very fair. I find them very easy to work with, the scheduling is always made very easy, the movers are great, and they're always on time.

They're one of our preferred vendor for moving and they do our daily moves. Right now we’re doing a large redevelopment at the hospital so they’re moving offices and clinical areas on a daily basis. They can also do large scale moves (for example, one of our moves had 100 000 sq. footage). Any issues that have ever come up get dealt with right then and there. The lead hands are great and resolve issues right away. When you’re dealing with big moves everything is dealt with in a very professional manner and I'm very satisfied with their work.

I use them about 5 or 6 times every year, for many years now, as I'm a builder. They're always on time, give me reasonable prices, professional, there hasn't been any damage, and they're very polite. I'm very happy with their service.

I've used them a bunch of times to move and my clients have used them to bring furniture to our store as well. In fact this coming Tuesday a client will be using their services and they gave the client the best rate possible. They're very professional and they always give me the best rates because I use them so often. I always recommend them to clients.

I used Joe The Mover to move the contents on an entire condo from storage to my new condo. I changed the scheduled start time four times because of the building manager at my new building. Each time I contacted the company and spoke with Rafael. He is the owner. He was extremely accommodating with my last minute changes. Furthermore, he discloses his costs up front, briefly tells you about the service and answers the phone right away.

The movers he sent were extremely good. In fact they were excellent. I dealt with Dwight Blagrove and Brian. They arrived at the storage area early, called me and told me they were waiting for my arrival. They were efficient, and I offered to help them since I was paying by the hour and they gladly accommodated that. However they specifically took care of the heavy / bulky items. They arrived at the condo building in record time and unloaded and had my unit set up with time to spare.

Should you decide to go with this company, ask for Dwight and he will direct the entire move, and you can either help or simply wait. He will take care of every last detail.

The price was exactly what the website, the owner and the movers quoted. There was no grey area or questionable charges. I gladly tipped both the movers for their excellent service.

Seems like it can be hit or miss with these movers, and I wish I'd read the reviews to know that before I booked them. I had a friend who had a great service with these movers, but I unfortunately wasn't as lucky. The crew that arrived at my house seemed to be more concerned with throwing my things around then moving them carefully. On the bright side, I ended up being charged less than the quoted price but I think I'd rather them take a little longer next time and take a little extra care.

great moving company! right from the start when I called to book the moving date, the lady advised me if I choose to move the next day, would save money on the hourly rate. The guys showed up and they were very professional. handled with care with my valuables. I do recommend them!!

I moved from a 1BR in a high-rise, to the 3rd floor of a townhouse (up 2 STEEP flights of stairs). These guys were quick, efficient, and extremely polite - truly the height of customer service!
They brought an extra man (3 instead of 2) and everything was done in 2hrs.
Highly recommended!

I used them recently to move from a 2BR apartment to a 3BR house. They were nice guys but they didn't have their own packing materials (e.g. tape) although they did provide blankets. They were alright but they didn't cover their boots in my new home and left footprints everywhere. Also, they marked my stairs and my walls a lot. The price was reasonable and I probably would use them again if I didn't care so much about my walls/floors.
