Chris and June delivered and Installed a new Washer & Dryer that we purchased through Sears. They also removed the defective units to be returned. Their service was great, and very mindful not to damage any surroundings. They did a great job and tested everything before they left. We were very happy and would recommend their services!

Hi speed have done several deliveries for me now through Direct Buy. They have been punctual so far. I recently had a dresser delivered and had a minor dent for which Chris promised to fix it. Chris kept to his word and the dent was repaired in a timely fashion. The dent cannot be noticed anymore and looks like new.

In March of 2013, I ordered furniture from Sears. There was a snag in the paper-work so delays and frustration left me feeling somewhat angst. The manager from Sears contacted me and advised that “Hi-Speed Couriers & Movers,” a reputable firm, would complete the delivery and set-up of my dining table, six chairs and chaise lounge. I wanted no more surprises – just my products. But this would not be the case. Later that same evening around seven, two polite, well organized young men that paid attention to every detail arrived at my new home. They made a point of greeting me with confidence and assurance that my Sears order would be set-up in accordance with their high standards of service and excellence. Chris, and his assistant, Jamal, were diligent, professional and patient as the set-up took approximately two hours. Upon completion, Chris meticulously reviewed the paperwork, ensured that I had all receipts and removed all boxes/packaging. With all the competition in the market place, one would hope that customer service would be an industry standard across the board. As consumers, we know that this is not so. However at “Hi-Speed Couriers & Movers,” excellence is their standard. First impressions matter and a lasting impression means so much more. I had to say thank you so much for a job well done.

As a Member of Direct Buy I was reffered to this company to have my recently purchased bed delivered to my house. Minutes after the delivery I noticed a side rail was cracked and called Direct Buy immediately. They informed me to call Frank at Hi-Speed courier regarding this issue as it left their warehouse undamaged. Twice I have called Hi-Speed Courier and no one has returned my messages. I find this very unproffesional and would not recommend this company to anyone. I am also filing a complaint with Direct Buy for recommending this company. The damage to the bed only Cost $90 and I have already re-ordered the part but it's not about the money it's about the lack of respect for it's customers for not returning my calls.

These two gentlemen came and picked up a sofa from my house to return it to Sears. They took extreme care to make sure they didn't mark the floors by laying down blankets and care to move through the patio doors. Everything went very smooth. I would definitely recommend this company and this driver and assistant both were very courteous.

My experience with HiSpeed is always pleasant where they are very professional, thorough, and understanding of home owners products. They handle all the items I send to my clients under extreme care and all the guys, especially crew 25, are wonderful and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a new fridge for my kitchen renovation. I phoned Hi-Speed so that I would not have to worry about the heavy lifting of getting thee fridge into my house. I figured that since they bill themselves on their business card as "appliance moving specialists" that they would think of the potential problems associated with moving an item like a fridge into a house. When I was setting things up with Hi-Speed, I dealt with Frank on the phone. He seemed pleasant and helpful and we arranged a date and time for the delivery. When the fridge arrived at the house, it did not fit through the front door. Turns out that the doors would need to come off the fridge and this is where things went wrong. The delivery guys refused to take the doors off the fridge because it had not been authorized on their work order. They put the fridge in my garage and left. This is obviously not a reasonable solution as it is quite inconvenient to go to the garage every time you want a glass of milk!! I hired Hi-Speed, a company that called themselves an "appliance moving specialist" because I don't ever move things like this and I wanted a professional, someone who does this kind of thing regularly, so that they would have the experience to say before hand that there might be a problem with this or that. When I called Hi-Speed back to discuss how my fridge was going to get from the garage to the kitchen, Frank was very rude and unhelpful. He told me that it was my fault that the fridge didn't fit and that I should have thought of that before I bought it. He said that it wasn't his fault that my house had normal sized doors and that my fridge (which he knew the size of when we booked the delivery) wouldn't fit through them without disassembly (a service which Hi-Speed offers for a fee). Frank finally agreed to send a crew back to the house to move the fridge into the kitchen and that he would split the cost of doing this with me. He also wanted to charge full price for removing the doors. Once the fridge was finally in the kitchen, I tried to contact Chris, the manager at Hi-Speed to tell him of my experiences with his company. This took two weeks as he didn't return my calls. When I finally did get to speak with Chris, he promised to look into the situation and said that he would get back to me. This never happened which is why I am writing this review. I will not recommend Hi-Speed to anyone, and I informed my retailer who recommended them about the poor service.

What could this company do to improve their services?
All Hi-Speed and Frank would have had to do to prevent this from happening would be to notify the customer while arranging the delivery. If Frank had said to me something like "This is a medium sized fridge. It may or may not fit through your door. If it does not, there will be a charge of $xx.xx to remove the doors." That simple statement would have prevented the whole problem. Alternatively, the delivery crew should have said, "I see that you haven't authorized removal of the fridge doors. We can do that for a fee of $xx.xx, would you like that?" Instead of "sorry, it is not on the work order, we can't do it. Do you want us to leave this on the driveway or will you open the garage so that we can put it there?"
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Ask lots of questions of your delivery company. Try to think of what the potential problems are and ask Hi-Speed while arranging the delivery. Don't assume that just because they call themselves "appliance delivery specialists" that they know what they are doing.

We first had Hi-Speed do a pickup and delivery back in October 2009 and have since used their services several times through 2010. They are timely, efficient, courteous, and professional. The guys even take care to remove their shoes and put down moving blankets to protect our floors when bringing the items into the house.

The team at Hi-Speed is simply WONDERFUL! They are quick and friendly and helpful and always courteous! I have no worries when they're delivering my appliances. I have used them at least a half dozen times and plan to continue!
