Bed

I made a purchase at the brick at Kennedy commons on the 30 march. I have still not received the bed two months after. I have spoken to about four persons who were supposedly managers with absolutely no help and lots of attitude. Today for the second time I was there in person hoping to have the matter resolve. The manager was totally unhelpful and did not try to hide it. The whole process of dealing with the brick has left a really bad taste in my mouth. Never again will I purchase anything from any brick store. The basically had my money for two months with me paying interest on my card and no bed .today I finally cancel my order and ask for a refund after having the misfortune of meeting a manager who have absolutely no concept of what customer service is about. If you pass a brick store I would recommend you keep driving, don't stop and save yourself the trouble from ever encountering one of them.

Terrible product, terrible service, customer lost for life

Bought a bed frame that turned out to be wonky, decided to return it and the rude employee Satinder said everything is final sale. Ummm....excuse me? No one told me that when I checked out, doesn't say it on my receipt, and how is that legal...? High pressure shopping experience, WORST return policy in the world, terrible service when I went back. Mostly due to Satinder who claims he's a manager but when I told him I'd call corporate he quickly backtracked and said his manager was on 'vacation'. Ya, right, like everyone's pet dog eventually goes to live on 'the farm'. I've already contacted my CC provider to open an investigation and filed complaints with BBB, MoCA, and will post my reviews across the interwebs to tell others to STAY AWAY. Serves me right for not just buying it at Costco, they have great customer service and an excellent return policy. Brick, you guys suck. Customer lost for life.

Frigidaire

DO NOT BUY FROM THE BRICK!
We purchased our entire kitchen from the store in Windsor. And going on two years, we've had 6/7 service calls for the fridge alone. The customer service is awful, the manager "Carl" I spoke with this morning, makes me wonder how anyone would hire him with his "professionalism"
He flat out cut me off while speaking, asked if he could speak and sarcastically replied "thanks" to himself. Told me if I felt the need to drop fridge off in front of his store, the only thing that would be done is - ruining my credit.
He was not helpful whatso ever. Nor compassionate. Nor understanding.
As for the so called "lemon policy" it needs to be 3 replaced parts within the warrenty. So regardless if it's in the manufacturing warrenty and then extended warrenty - it's to be 3 for each warrenty.

My fridge has not not worked, more, than it has worked. Please save your time, energy, and most importantly your money and do not purchase from The Brick.

Unsure how this can be allowed. I thought companies are to stand behind products they sell.

Signed,
One extremely disappointed Customer.

Appliance

Paid The Bricks for extended warranty for our appliance. The Samsung refrigerator is only 2 year old, already having technical issues. Called for service and both TransGlobal warranty and Bricks customer service horrible. Not showing up for scheduled appointments and blame everything on the customers. Please don't buy from The Bricks. Review online. So many complaints against them.

customer service, delivery, attitude, incompetence

I really hope The Brick customer service actually reads this because I suspect that they just give a generalized reply to everyone who's ever written a bad review about them .
We purchased a mattress/bed frame at The Brick back in February to have it delivered for May when we move. At the store, we were never told or given the option to pay for installation. We were not told that we would need to assemble the frame ourselves. She did however give me an option to pay for old mattress pick up and i said we would call because we didn't know if the new home came with a bed. Turns out it did so i called a day before delivery and they said they can't do it (that was my fault because i should've called 48 hours prior). Thats fine, we just moved the old mattress/box spring out of the bedroom ourselves to prepare for the delivery. The two guys arrived and proceeded to bring in our items (not complete as per usual as our mattress cover was missing because the Toronto warehouse "did not stock it in the truck" they said). They roughly brought our bed upstairs, while knocking over my wall paintings and just left everything in the bedroom. i was then prompted to sign the paper and i asked if they will assemble the bed for us and he said "no" and walked out of our house. so now we have a pile of unfinished bed items in our room, fallen paintings, and semi scratched walls. i proceeded to call the brick customer service to tell them what happened, the women i was speaking to rudely told me that its not their sales person's fault as they should all know their protocol and what to tell the customer. clearly it was different with mine. again, i was not told that we would have to self assemble nor were we given the option to pay for installation if we didn't want to assemble. i was then transferred to the installation department where although the guy was very nice and helpful, he told me that if wanted get the bed assembled, i would have to pay $239.99 BUT I'd have to wait for someone to contact me to set up an installation date/time. so.... I'm paying you guys to NOT know when i will have a bed to sleep on?
i know people say "the customer is always right" but i work in the customer service industry too and no they're not always right but in this case, we are definitely right.
there was definitely miscommunication between the sales person and myself with her not letting me know that we would have to assemble the bed ourselves now leading to this big pile of mess in the middle of my bedroom.
now we are waiting on our mattress cover, and possibly just sleeping on the floor until we manage to get someone out to assemble the bed for us. its definitely not going to be through the brick as they don't even know when they will have their contractors come out to do it. BUT they will take your money first.
i guess the only good part that came out of this whole situation is that we got 6/7 items that we paid for and it didn't spontaneously "go missing" like I've read from many other reviews. OH another good thing is that i learned to NEVER shop with the brick again.

Couch warrenty

Bought a couch we loved with the warranty just over a year ago. Called to have repairs done as everything is basically broken now. They told us that our warranty is void since we didn't report wear and tear on the cushions when it happened. So now that we called about broken springs and back of couch that happened the weekend before all of this is now void.
Don't shop here. The insurance guy they sent out said everything was poorly made to begin with. Cardboard used in the arms instead of actual wood!!

What a horrible experience

We bought a Whirlpool laundry machine 2 years ago and it has a 5 year warranty on it. About 3 months ago we called technician to fix a blockage.
Second time he came, there was something wrong with the laundry draining system. After he came a second time, the washer stopped working. We waited a week for another appointment, and we specified the hours that we are available.
Customer service told us technician will contact us. He called at 8 am and said he will be there at 11 am. Since I live with my son only, I work full time and I said I will be home after 3 pm. He was absolutely rude and said this is my problem and he will not be there.
We called Bricks Warranty Customer Service 3 times now and nobody got back to us regarding when someone can come to fix a washer.
We have been without a washer for 3 weeks now.
Is this fair? We paid over $ 1000 for this and that is how we get treated!
